I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and we’ve been using it over the joycons ever since. It works really well and I haven’t noticed any kind of lag or anything from it. It also feels very high quality and has a really nice texture to it. It feels very smooth and soft. It connects to the switch even when it’s off so when it’s on its dock and connected to the tv all I have to do is pick up the controller and press the home button and the switch turns on. The grey color on top I thought would be ugly but it looks so much better in person. The charger also hooks into the dock which is nice so we can just leave it charging when not in use. The ergonomics are also very good. It fits nicely in my boyfriend’s larger hands and my smaller hands with comfortable access to everything. ... show more

I was shocked at how good this controller is, especially considering that the Pro Controller V1 was just “fine.” It’s hard to put into words just what’s so great about it, but it feels so well built and comfortable in your hands. The face buttons are huge and they feel great to push. The sticks are great too. They raised the - and + buttons so you can easily distinguish them from the screenshot and home buttons by feel alone. I've been using this controller for a day so far, but already love it. I've been using the original Switch 1 Pro controller for the past seven years which was already an amazing controller, but this new one takes it to another level. It feels even more solid than the original version, it's a bit smaller & the buttons are slightly larger. The original is backward compatible with the Switch 2, but the main flaw is that it can't wake the console, but the new one does. One nice improvement with the new one is that you just do a simple tap on the home button to wake the console whereas you had to press & hold the home button usually a couple of times to wake the Switch 1 console with the original Pro Controller. I prefer the smooth finish of the grips compared to the textured one of the original & feels very comfortable in my hands. Overall it's a worthy upgrade from the original controller & was for sure worth the high price . ... show more

Great controller so far. The size is just right and it feels much better in the hands than the smaller generic versions. The finish is smooth, but it doesn’t provide much grip if your hands get sweaty, so I recommend pairing it with a silicone skin. The cost is definitely high, but I was looking for something closer to the feel of a PS5 DualSense controller. After struggling to decide which generic option would be the best alternative, I chose to invest in the name brand, and I’m glad I did. ... show more

Small tweaks make this a welcome improvement over the switch pro controller. Mainly in comfort. They didnt change what worked and thats why I like it even more. This controller's great. It has a luxurious plastic feel to it, and everything on it functions well. Button pressing is smooth, the joysticks are quiet and also really smooth, and the addition of the extra buttons on the back is also a nice touch. Not sure what to use it on yet... Oh, also, 40 hours of playtime off of a 2-3 hour charge is insane! This controller is amazing to say the least. The only problem I have with it is the price. Really... expensive... ... show more

This controller is really nice. It is made for the Nintendo Switch 2. It feels really nice in your hands and is highly functional. This accessory is a huge upgrade from the controller that is included with the console. They call it a pro controller for a reason.
