Was using these in our security cameras - tried to save a few $$ by avoiding the recommended name brand battery that rhymes with synergizer - but found I was replacing the batteries about twice as much with these - they just don't have the staying power, and also, there's a smell that comes from the package when it's opened that I've not noticed with the name brand. Updated 2025/03/21 - Seller reached out to me and offered refund/replacement so they at least stand behind their product. They also explained that the odor is a result of the manufacturing process and is completely normal and not harmful. Updated review to four stars - they are replacing the product and are working on their quality control, so I'll give them another chance with an updated version of the product. ... show more

So far so good! - looking forward to longer life with my simply safe door lock (garage). in the winter normal batteries don't last long so looking forward to these batteries. With the higher voltage you can hear it in the lock motor running much faster.

These batteries do not store on the shelf in a cold environment I bought two sets and the ones in use need to be replaced after two months. I would easily get 4 months from a similar Energizer. The box I kept on the shelf is already dead. Not recommended for purchase.
