Easy to swap and included the screwdrivers to do so, which is good because I couldn't find my tri-wing screw driver. So far I'm 8 cycles in and after completing the break-in process described in the manual it's definitely lasting longer than the OE battery I replaced with almost 900 cycles on it. I pretty much exclusively use the laptop for YouTube browsing and it lasts 3-4 hours doing that from what I can tell, which is about twice what I was getting. Lasts on standby for days which the OE battery was not. We shall see how it holds up, I keep the laptop plugged in most of the time.

Easy install and fast charged

Updated review: NinjaBatt sent me a new battery after searching and finally being able to contact them. They were nice about it and just sent a new one out. It arrived actually really fast, only a couple days I think. New battery is installed and working good. It arrived with 40% charge. I'll follow the included instruction to run it down to 10% then charge to 100% and repeat this process five times to make sure it has full capacity. This is on my wife's laptop, so I'll also move all the files and folders she has on the desktop to the documents folder to save resources from the computer. Thanks NinjaBatt for standing behind your warranty and making the process easier. I moved the 1-star review to 4-star because of this, but I can't go to 5-star because the first battery did fail, and my expectations are lower now. Old review: I bought this with high expectations for an aftermarket battery. Installation went easy and battery held a charge right away. It didn't seem to be a high quality battery as the total charge held was similar to the old original Apple battery that I was replacing. Well, after 7 months, the battery now won't even take a charge. It won't charge past 1% and it says it has 23 cycles under it and needs replacement. What do you expect with a Chinese product. Trash.

I've changed laptop batteries a few times before, so this was not new ground for me to cover. I'm using this battery on a Mid 2012 MacBook Pro. The batter is an exact replacement for my computer and was a easy install. While I have a tool kit for working on computers. This battery is shipped with the necessary screw drivers for the unique screws Apple uses on it's computers. While the case is held in place with 00 philips, the battery itself is held in with Y head screws. So you will need the screw drivers they include. It's an important detail. I noticed in a few reviews people reported the screw holes not lining up. I can't speak to their problems. But I can say I had not such problems. I did leave the first of the two screws loose before I tightened either of them. There were no problems. It was a ten minute job, but only because I chose to clean the cooling fan with canned air. I've gone for some of the cheaper Chinese batteries in the past and have seen very short service lines with them. This cost a little more. But some with good information on conditioning your new battery. If followed it will extend the useful life of your battery, and save you some headaches. I've used mine as they instructed. Running it down to 10% before plugging in the battery as they instructed. That was followed by five cycles of taking the battery from 100% to 10% and charging fully after each cycle. And right now, my battery is running 107% of capacity. As can be seen in the image of the "Battery Health" app. I've included. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product. Just be certain you know the year and model of your computer.

I purchased this battery in November 2022 and used it on my MacBook Pro for three months. I moved in February 2023 and after a year, I returned back to my home with my belongings. I used the MacBook a handful of times, sporadically, between November to February. Today, I plugged in the MacBook and let it charged for 30 minutes or so. When I tried to use it, it seemed like it didn’t charge at all. That’s when I noticed that the trackpad was very compressed, almost bulging out of place. I took the MacBook Pro and opened it noticed how enlarged the battery had become. I probably used it 30 cycles at best and the product description claims it is good for 1000 cycles. The battery ended up messing up the trackpad even after I took the battery out. Very disappointed with this battery, if I could, I would give it negative stars. Save yourself and your computer, and purchase a new battery elsewhere. You will see how bad was the battery in the pictures and like I said, it was barely even used during those few months I was charging the MacBook.

This is my fourth battery replacement for my 2011 MacBook pro. I was lucky to get the replacements to last a year, until I ordered the NinjaBatt. It doubled the life to 2 years. This is my second Ninja battery. I am quite happy to find a reliable battery for my very old computer.

It works great! My laptop works again! It was extremely easy to install, however there aren't any instructions included with it so I had to find a video online. Very easy to do though.
