  • Great product
Size: 2x50FT + 10 attachments
I’m so happy that I purchased this one!! Grandkids LOVE it. In fact all kids that come over ask to play on it. Very stable and strong. We just moved and so it came to our new place and was very easy to take down and put back up.

  • Great compromise for a play structure
Size: 2x50FT + 10 attachments
We were interested in having a play structure in our yard for our children, but we didn't want to spend thousands of dollars nor install something permanent that would take up half the yard even after they'd outgrown it. This has been a great compromise. I like the flexibility this system provides to rearrange -- and even replace -- obstacles/play items. The first photo in the review is what it looked like when I first set it up brand new. (Our trees are not very far apart, so I wrapped a single slack line around 3 trees, making 2 sides of a triangle. It's not perfect, because the obstacles at one end can run into each other, but my kids make it work.) The second photo is how it's morphed over a year and a half of use. I've moved obstacles around based on what order works for the play my kids are doing at specific times. We took down the cargo net because it was too hard for our 2 and 4 year olds and repurposed the 4 buckles it was using with a baby swing and a disc swing. (We also added a hammock and climbing holds on the tree.) I've loved watching the kids figure this out and improve their skills, and it has held their interest for the 18 months we've owned it. My 5 year old can traverse the whole course without touching the ground now, so we'll probably have to put the cargo net back up soon. And I'm happy to have the flexibility to adapt it to their needs as they grow. The slack line and buckles have held up surprisingly well to 18 months of intense sun (and even an ice storm that knocked down tons of branches from all those trees). The wooden bars of the ladder and monkey bars still work, but they're definitely showing signs of weathering. I regret not treating them with a weather-proofer before leaving them outside for so long. And the squirrels have nibbled away all parts of the tree protectors that were peeking out from the slack line. My impression before purchasing this was that it would be relatively easy to install, and we might put it up and take it down sometimes. But it was not. It took me quite some time just to get all the buckles laced onto the slack line. Then it took me and my husband a couple hours to fully figure out getting the slack line at the right height and right tension. Definitely not a one person job as I was imagining it would be. We have not taken it down at all in the meantime, though we just recently did loosen the tension a bit to rearrange the exact spacing of the buckles. We were able to do it, but we didn't move anything more than a couple inches because they were very hard to move. Beyond installation, my only complaint is that they don't sell additional buckles. The slack line is so long it could easily accommodate several more obstacles (if you have the space between your trees), but they only send the exact number of buckles to support the obstacles that come with it. If you could get more buckles, this would be so much more extensible. ... show more

  • Kids use it daily and easy setup if you know ratchet straps
Size: 2x50FT + 10 attachments
I bought this for my kids for Easter and it has been a huge hit. It’s been set up for about 8 days now and they’ve been using it at least 2 hours a day. It’s usually the first thing they ask to do in the morning, sometimes before even saying good morning. The setup was straightforward overall. If you’re familiar with truck ratchet straps, this will be very easy to figure out. The only part I struggled with was adjusting the connecting buckles at first because I didn’t realize the slackline needed to stay loose during that step. We set the top line at about 6 feet high, which has worked really well for my 8 and 6 year old. My kids each weigh between 85-95 pounds and are both able to comfortably play on the slackline and attachments. Our trees are about 15 feet apart, and we were able to fit quite a few attachments at once, including the climbing net, two swings, a monkey bar, and the rings. I like that you can switch things around pretty easily. We originally had the lower slackline set up, but ended up taking it down because it interfered with using the swing. We’ve put it back up a couple of times though, and it’s quick enough to adjust if you want to change things around instead of keeping it set up one way. For my family specifically I don’t know if the bottom slackline is worth it though. I think if I were to buy another slackline course for their grandma’s house I would just do a price comparison with other courses that only have one line. We keep some of the extra attachments in the shed and rotate them in, which helps keep it interesting for the kids. Overall, this has been a great outdoor activity and gets used every single day. If you have kids, this is a really fun way to keep them active outside and burn off energy. Pros: Kids use it daily. Flexible setup with multiple attachments. East to adjust and reconfigure. Works well with trees about 15 ft apart. Cons: Buckle adjustments can be confusing at first if you don’t realize the line needs to be loose. ... show more

Honestly, the setup was not very clear. I think the instructions could have used a few tips & tricks to make my life a lot easier. I ended up having to re-do the anchors a bunch of times. I'll add my tips here: 1. Layout your course design and measure the distance between each before putting all your anchors on. The instructions say 15"-20", but for some obstacles, that's far too wide. 2. Not really a tip, but putting the anchors on will take forever. Make sure you get them where you want them because you can't move them once you've tightened the ratchet strap. 3. I don't understand how the swing is supposed to work when you're also using the bottom slack line. Your legs hit the line when you try to swing. Luckily, we had 3 trees in a line. The first two about 30 feet apart, the 3 is about 7 feet from the 2nd. After we had it all installed originally with the first two trees and realized the swing didn't work, we took it apart and repositioned the top slack line from tree 1 to tree 3 leaving only the swing between tree 2 and tree 3. Then we put the bottom slack line from tree 1 to tree 2 only so that the swing can swing freely. I guess you could always leave the bottom slack line off, but my 6 and 9 year old both needed the bottom line. 4. 50ft is more space than you'll ever need. There aren't even enough obstacles to spread 50ft. Again, our two main trees are about 30 ft apart and the obstacles don't fill the entirety of the space. 5. The ratchet instructions completely baffled me. I stared at them for a good 20 minutes not understanding what to do. Finally asked my husband to help. Be sure to pull the remaining tail of the strap all the way through the ratchet as far as you can (like really pull on it so it's almost tight) and then start ratcheting, especially if you're only using 30ft of line. The ratchet will fill up and you won't be able to get it tight. So as much as a headache as assembly and installation was, it took about 3 hours with occasional help from my husband on the ratchets. My kids absolutely loved it. They played on it for hours, giving them selves different challenges, timing themselves, etc. I hope the enjoyment lasts through the summer at least. I think there is a lot of opportunity for injuries here, but the risk is worth getting the kids outside and off of the screens. 2 stars for assembly, instructions, and installation. 5 stars from my kids. ... show more

  • Great back yard fun!
Size: 2x50FT + 10 attachments
We love this slack line! The kids and their friends use it all the time! It is easy to set up but does take two people. We did not use all of the toys that came with it. We found it easiest to put the stabilizing hooks on prior to pulling it tight. Then adding the items as needed. It holds up to adults too! We found if it is stretched, it’s best if the bottom is about 2 feet off the ground or it will hit the ground by the time one person is in the middle. ... show more
