Ninja Did It Again! One Machine Replaces So Many Kitchen Gadgets!

Wow! I absolutely love this Ninja PREPi system! I’m already a huge fan of Ninja kitchen products, and this is another one that has me wondering why I didn’t have something like it sooner. One of my favorite things about this system is how many different kitchen gadgets it replaces. Instead of digging through drawers looking for different slicers, choppers, and other attachments, I have one compact system that can handle so many of my food prep needs. Anything that makes cooking easier and cuts down on kitchen clutter is a win in my book! The slicing and chopping functions work fantastic, and I especially love the crinkle-cut option. It makes perfectly sized, ridged potato fries, which is such a fun feature! You can also slice, shred, chop, and purée with the different attachments, making this useful for everything from preparing vegetables for dinner to making salads and other dishes. I also appreciate that it comes with two different sized bowls, 5 cups and 7 cups. Having the option to prepare smaller or larger portions is convenient, and the included storage lids are a fantastic touch. You can prep your food, put the lid on, and store it right in the refrigerator without dirtying another container. Whoever thought of that deserves a little appreciation! The machine is easy to operate, and switching between the different cutting options is straightforward. Despite having so many functions, it doesn’t take up nearly as much space as keeping several individual kitchen gadgets around. And let’s talk about cleanup! Makes Healthy Meal Prep So Much Easier

I eat a lot of vegetables, and the part I like least is all the prep that comes before actually cooking or eating them. I don’t mind making a big salad or cooking fajitas, but standing at the counter slicing onions, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and everything else gets old pretty quickly. This Ninja PREPi cuts that time down dramatically. The slicing and shredding disc is easily the attachment I use the most. I can run several vegetables through it in the time it would normally take me to slice one of them by hand. I’ve used it for cucumbers, carrots, cabbage, peppers, onions, and cheese, and it has handled all of them easily. I especially like it when I’m making salads because I can prep several different vegetables so quickly that I’m much more likely to add some variety instead of making the same boring salad every day. The chopping blade is handy for smaller ingredients or when I want a finer texture, while the crinkle-cut disc is completely unnecessary for most things but also strangely fun. There’s something about wavy vegetables that makes an ordinary lunch look a little less ordinary. I also use both bowl sizes more than I expected. The 5-cup bowl is a good size when I’m making something for myself, while the 7-cup bowl gives me more room when I’m prepping several meals at once. I really like having lids for them because I can sometimes skip transferring the food into another storage container and just put the entire bowl in the refrigerator. The machine itself is compact enough that I don’t hesitate to pull it out for relatively small jobs. It has a 500-watt motor, and so far I haven’t felt like I needed more power for the kinds of foods I’m preparing. It gets through everything quickly, and I’m finished with the annoying part of meal prep before I have much time to complain about doing it. For me, this has been especially useful because convenience makes a huge difference in whether I actually stick with meal prepping. When I can turn a refrigerator full of vegetables into several days of ready-to-eat ingredients this quickly, I’m much more likely to eat what I bought instead of deciding that takeout sounds easier.

A good food processor that takes up much less space

The great thing about Ninja products is they are designed to save space and with a minimum of cleanup. I have a food processor. It is, I think, more powerful than this one. And was more expensive even though I bought it 15 years ago. But it's a pain. It's a pain to use, a pain to transfer the food, and a pain to clean. This is much better in all those respects. The chopped up or pureed food goes right into a bowl you can eat out of or wrap in cling film and store in the fridge. It's awesome. All the components except the motor are dishwasher safe. This is true of my processor as well but the parts on that are so much harder to disassemble and get into the dishwasher. Everything on the PREPi comes apart so much easier. As for food quality, I made some guacamole because I didn't want to bust out the mortar and pestle. Much quicker using this though the consistency is not as chunky. That's fine. It took literally minutes to make. Quickly pulse up the onions and cilantro along with the lime juice. Then add in the avocado and quickly pulse. That was delicious. Then I tried the slicing function and added in some onion that way. That way you had chopped up onion and thin slices of onion for a contrast in textures. Worked fine though I did cut up the sliced onion with a knife to make the pieces smaller. Add salt, stirred, and it was delicious after some time in the fridge. I like this product and it will make me cook recipes that can use a food processor much more often.

Clever, Powerful, and Excellent for Food Prep

This item arrives neatly enclosed in a product box that provides plenty of protection, ensuring that everything is received in perfect condition. Inside is the Ninja PREPi system with two bowls, storage lids, and the attachments needed for its different cutting functions. As someone who owns and loves quite a few Ninja appliances, I really like the concept behind this one. It handles several of the tedious parts of food preparation without requiring a full-size food processor. The 500-watt motor can be used to chop or purée, while the reversible disc handles slicing and shredding. There is also a crinkle-cut attachment, which may be completely unnecessary for most meals, but has the potential to add a bit of fun to our veggies. The two bowl sizes are particularly useful. There is a 5-cup bowl for smaller quantities and a 7-cup bowl when I need more room. I also appreciate that both have storage lids, so food can stay in the same container after preparation instead of creating another dish to wash. The entire system is relatively compact considering how many different jobs it performs, which makes it much easier to justify giving it permanent kitchen space. I actively avoid recipes that require an excessive amount of chopping, so this device might encourage me to add a little variety into my cooking. Overall, this is a useful little prep system that combines several frequently used food-processing functions in one compact appliance. I have enjoyed using this Ninja PREPi so far, and I look forward to continuing to do so in the future.

Works great, dishwasher safe and weighs half of the old machines like this

I love this thing! It makes cooking SO much easier. I have made potato chips, hash-browns with onions and this makes it easy to do! The storage bowls work great and you don’t have to dirty a separate bowl. We also used it to shred cheese and it works great! So much easier than our old machine and it weighs half of what it did! You can put pretty much everything into the dishwasher accept for the motor. It is super easy to use. Snap the lid onto the storage bowl of choice, it has two different sized bowls. A 5 cup and a 7 cup bowl. Once the lid is on the bowl set the motor onto the lid into the saddle and make sure it clicks in and you are good to go. To change the speeds you simply turn the dial on the side of the motor, it has clearly marked settings. The bowls seal very well and don’t let the foods odors out. We tested it with onions and you couldn’t smell them. A good product for a good value

Good for Sunday Food Prep Without Using a Bunch of Different Tools

I like kitchen tools that save time without taking over the countertop. The PREPi combines chopping, slicing, shredding, crinkle cutting, and pureeing in one compact system. The two bowls are a useful part of the package, especially with the included storage lids. Being able to prepare something and put the bowl directly into the refrigerator saves transferring food into another container. The 500-watt motor should be enough for all normal food preparation, and having several cutting options makes this more useful than a basic mini chopper. The tradeoff is that there are still different parts and attachments to clean and store. That's worth remembering with any appliance that promises to replace several kitchen tools. For preparing vegetables, making sauces, and handling smaller kitchen jobs, this looks like a handy setup without requiring a full-size food processor.

A Huge Time Saver for Everyday Vegetable Prep

Update: I tried to shred red onions today but was unsuccessful. The texture of onions doesn’t work well with the disc. I ended up with mushy onions and lots of juice. I do a lot of vegetable prep for my family, and chopping, slicing, and shredding everything by hand can take quite a bit of time. The Ninja PREPi has already made that part of cooking much easier for me. It saves me time and also cuts down on all the repetitive work my hands have to do. I made a sautéed mixed vegetable dish tonight with shredded carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. It literally took less than five minutes to shred everything. That would have taken much longer by hand. Tomorrow I’m planning to use it to chop potatoes for home fries, and I can already think of so many other vegetables I’ll be using it for. It was easy to figure out. Almost every part is labeled, and the instructions are straightforward, so it only took me a few minutes to get everything set up. I also really like how compact it is. The motor pod is small, and the whole system doesn’t take up much counter space. The two bowls are convenient too. I can prep what I need and put the lid on the bowl to store it in the refrigerator instead of transferring everything to another container. Cleanup is easy as well. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe, although I usually just rinse everything right after I’m done and let the pieces air dry. I have attached a video for your reference.
