I have used it a few times. I love it. I love how the pot comes out of the slow cooker. The handles are not hot when I pull it out and serve dinner. I love all of the settings. As the slow cooker finishes it switches from low to warm. I love the size and it wasn't too expensive. If you have not purchased one of these you are missing out!! I was hesitant to buy one because of the price, but I got a bonus at work and I bit the bullet and got it, and it does not disappoint. The unit is much, much lighter than the traditional crockpot. Clean up is amazing because nothing sticks so that eliminates the crockpot bags. Yes, you have to wash it, but I found with the bags, they leave a film on the crocks. I have used to slowcook, sear meat, baking, saute vegetables and still going! I actually gave away my crockpots because that is how good this is! I also like the feature that when the slow cooker timer goes off, it kicks over to warm and the timer starts to let you know how long its been on warm. I do recommend using silicone utensils and make sure to use potholder on lid. I am actually getting ready to order another!!!! Don't wait, get one! ... show more

I finally retired my old crockpot with this new Ninja Possible Cooker 12 in 1. I didn't realize how old my previous crockpot was until I tried cooking in the Ninja. The Ninja was easy to set up and use. It cooked the food in half the time my old crockpot use to do this. And it is a much larger size than my old cooker. I thought the absence of a lid lock would be an issue but it didn't prove to be a problem. And while its inner cooker is not as heavy duty as my crockpot, it still performed well and will be perfect for the various uses I have in mind for my family's meals. I look forward to experimenting with this new cooker, including its sous vide function. ... show more

UPDATE - After using this crockpot for several months, I need to update this review to be honest. I'm taking a star off. Beware, the high setting puts the unit into a constant high boil, which I would not consider appropriate to a slow cooker, as I would never leave the house with this unit on high. Everything else I wrote in the original review remains true, and I use this a lot. But I had to end up buying a second crock pot for when I want to slow cook on a high setting. Since I wanted one unit that could do everything, that disappointed me. ORIGINAL REVIEW This cooker has exceeded my expectations. I just built a tiny house. It has a full kitchen, except code does not permit a stove. I spent a lot of time reading reviews of cooking appliances. A bit over 10 years ago I bought a searing Ninja slow cooker. It was okay, but took so long to saute/sear that I usually used a separate frying pan. Not so with this newer technology. It sears quickly and evenly. A great benefit when you don't have a stove top. And much better than using a plug-in burner and pan, due to its speed of getting to temperature and the eveness of cooking. I have used it for frying, slow cooking and braising. High on slow cooking gives you a nice rolling simmer. Low on slow cooking is truly low. I appreciate both. I have made rice in it following the instructions provided. And I use it to make pasta. All work perfectly. My only regret is I purchsed an electric skillet, which I totally don't need. This Ninja does it all. I suggest taking the time to read the instruction booklet. I would not have known to get it to temperature before adding food. It has a great little alarm that goes off to let you know when it is time to add the food. This was a great purchase! ... show more

This is a serious upgrade to the slow cooker from 20 years ago it replaced! It has several cooking modes, is easy to learn to use, and is a perfect size for a small family. Get the larger one if you like to cook larger quantities. I like this appliance a lot.
