The base is loose and separates when I try to lift if off the counter (as the four little suction tubes on the bottom sticks to the counter to secure it in place... I love my smoothies- day in and day out. The easiest way to get this 62 year old to eat (drink) vegetables that she just doesn’t want to eat. Spoiled child who loved vegetables at an early age developed a bad diet habit that never included vegetables from her late childhood and throughout her teens and all through adulthood! Now she’s a vegetable eating nut when she blends them in a smoothie.     • Over powered Suction cups / easy warranty processing.
I purchased Ninja Foodi SS201 Power Blender & Processor. 3-in-1 Crushing Blender, Dough Mixer, and Food Processor 1400WP smartTORQUE 6 Auto-iQ Presets. For the sole purpose of making smoothies so i can not comment on any other function. I it better to manually operate the speed of the blender my self instead of the Smoothie pre set function and i am very happy with how it works. Also makes extremely smooth peanut butter. I have used this about 5 times a week for 4 months. Today the screws that hold the base together failed because the suction cups that hold the base to the counter more powerful that the strength of the plastic housing. I have put it threw that stress every time i used it as i have to take it into the garage not to wake people up or disrupt activities in nearby rooms. it is quit loud and powerful. Process frozen foods with ease. The warranty process was simple. I scanned the qrl code on the machine and entered some info and then called them. A very polite and helpfull person walked me threw the process. Which was answering a few simple questions and accepting a vidio call to let them see the isue over the vidio to verify my claim. I was required to pay $20 Shipping of the replacement base which i was told would be 2-7 business day. Do i think i should have to pay the shipping? No. besides that the warranty processes was as it should be. I'm going to buy a small cheep plastic cutting board and dedicate it to being a platform for the suction cups to prevent it from happening again. They didnt ask for the old base, so i gues i have a back up now. hope this helps someone. ... show more

Okay, so I had to Google how to start it because I actually NEVER read instruction manuals (not something I'm proud of)! Just so you know, make sure the lid is lined up with the handle (the spout will be on the back left)! Let me start by saying... WOW!!! I put plain Greek yogurt, strawberries (with just the tops cut off - NOT quartered), and blueberries in. Then I hit the "Smoothie" button and it started. There are ZERO chunks of fruit - it is all 100% blended. Literally EVERY other blender I have used STILL ends up with chunks, even after the fruit is cut up. If you can't tell, I am completely amazed!! BUY THIS BLENDER!!! It's SO worth the $$!!! ... show more

Had another version when a piece went missing so a replacement was needed. It was easy to set up but OMG, I guess I didn't realize how much my old blades had dulled!!!! These beauties are SHARP so keep that in mind! The motor is powerful! I was shocked at the improvement from my other one. It's not very silent but it has the power to land a jet. I'm sure it will be able to work dough (though I've never used it for that). The suction on the bottom holds it firmly (very firmly) in place with no worries. It's as thick and durable as my old one without being cumbersome. Y'all need to get one! It's a fun gadget that does it's job well. For easy cleaning, I add a drop of dish detergent and water and start it up. It basically cleans itself. I still pull it apart and clean it but watch those blades! I now use a bottle brush. You'll love it though! ... show more
