Not sure why it has bad reviews - I like it much better than Keurig. Never used that arm on the side, but I brew 4-6 cups daily. I have it over two years now without malfunction. Descaling is easy - it takes over an hour, but you just run it and forget about it. It does a bit at a time and then lets it soak. Coffee tastes great. It could be a tad hotter for my taste, but I’m not complaining. I use the 8oz rich coffee setting. I bought another pot for tea. Extremely disappointed in how I received this VERY expensive coffee maker. Seems like it’s been used. No Ninja box. Broken styrofoam pieces stuffed around the edges. There was wetness on the top of the machine. Sorry, I paid too much for this. I’m returning it ASAP!

Love this thing it's so nice having the option to make a single cup for myself or a full pot If I have company. And it's so nice having the removable water reservoir just take it to the sink and set it back in place.

I love ninja products because they're always great quality. I don't know what happened here but I bought two and one of them did not work. The one that does work is absolutely wonderful and I love it. As far as the return goes I would have rather had an exchange, but it requires me to ship it back and buy a new one. If I wait for them to get it back and return my money, it could take up to two weeks maybe longer. Then I have to place my order again if they're still in stock. Otherwise I have to front the cash and wait for the return. Just a reality of online purchases. This was an "EXCELLENGT" refurbished product so I knew there was a chance of failure.----- UPDATE... I live more than an hour from a UPS drop off center and the seller would/did not send a USPS LABEL. Amazon filed a claim for a full refund and I ordered another one for replacement. So.... not overly joyed, but aliexpress doesn't have this model. :0) ... show more

I love this coffee pot. The ease of use and the quality of be coffee. Easy to make a little or a lot. It is very fast making coffee. You can do specialty or iced. Grounds or pods. It fits nicely on my counter.
