Instead of having separate appliances cluttering the kitchen, this handles almost everything. Build Quality The entire system feels solid and well-built. This system is heavy duty. Easily makes a smoothie for one or a pitcher full. Easily blends fresh or frozen fruits, ice, everything you add. I like the pulsing action for the smoothie cycle. I haven't tried the food processor yet but expect it to work very well. It doesn't take up much room on the counter. I like the anti-slip feet, no walking across the counter during use. Good value.

Can you fall in love with a blender/smoothie maker/food processor? Well, I did. I took it out of the box, cleaned all the parts and made a smoothie right away. Why DID I wait? You just push the ‘smoothie’ button and in a minute or so you’ve got a perfect smoothie. The base remains the same but you can put the food processor bowl on it or the blender part. All work so so well. Easy to clean, sharp blades, noisy but for a short time. Seems pretty durable. I just ditched my ancient Waring blender and my Cuisinart food processor. This has it all.

I love this and it does an amazing job blending for smoothies/ soups. Personal size cups are great for on the go. The food processor is definitely not the BEST on the market, but for a casual home cook it does the job. Had for about 5 months and used regular. Only issue is that it is very loud- I can't make a smoothie unless my husband is already awake in the morning (though we live in a small apartment so this may not be an issue if you have a larger house.
