With that said - this product is a great value. Everything seems to be made of high quality materials. Models plug connectors are very nice with double sided contacts, cable and wire thickness is well suited for much higher electrical currents than your trailer should ever see. Terminal board, lugs and all is, again, well made. ——- now, if you are replacing existing trailer wiring be mindful that some connector color codes are off. Identify each circuit properly and could pare it to what the plug in your vehicle states as each function. Disregard wire color coding info here.

I bought this harness to clean up/upgrade the wiring on a used trailer I bought. I also had the need for the 12v power which the existing harness didn't have. The product is high quality and very sturdy. The terminal box is wired according to the included documentation. Yes, the paint on some of the terminal don't match the factor wiring but the documentation of each terminal is correct. I tested each terminal to assure the documentation was correct. And from there, I install the kit. The grommets included with the box and as extras are a nice touch. This makes the installation have the ability to be custom. I am VERY happy and satisfied with this product. Just take your time to understand the wiring and when you do the install and you'll be happy too!

Easy to wire only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of the mounting ears cracked but it was still useable . Has a color code so you don’t wire it like a 4way plug

Came with everything to install box and all necessary plugs to make it weather resistant. Plug appears to be made well. However, DISREGARD the wire instructions included. They are NOT correct get a trailer harness wiring diagram and wire it up by matching the plug blade to correct post in box. This is NOT color coded to standard US trailer wiring code. You will need to dismantle the plug to correct the wiring mishap! Quality of peodyis very good Quality of instructions SUCK!!

I needed to rewire a flatbed trailer that had been setting for nearly 20 years and found this great time saver. Just had to mount the junction box then run my wiring from the lights, attach a ring terminal and bada-boom, bada-bing all done! Other reviews talk about the color code being wrong, well it's not. This is standard colors for a 7-way plug common to all travel trailers, fifth-wheels and everything with a 7-way plug. To be sure, just be take your time. Would buy this again.
