It has a very solid build. Heavy duty mounting bracket with rust resistant coating. Very thick ratchet and gear mechanism. Heavy duty control spring. Decent strap. In my option it probably could have received a higher weight rating. The slots on the bottom of the mounting bracket make it almost universal. A couple of of cons I found are the standard crank arm has a loose flimsy handle and the mounting bolts need to be longer and provide more washers and also include either lock washers or aircraft nuts for a more dependable mounting.
