I have had great luck with NiLight products in the past and this 6 button switch panel is no different. The panel itself has a nice heft to it. And the buttons seem to work well. The fusebox is Ok. I only say Ok because the cover is a bit flimsy, but the base unit holding the fuses and relays seems to be a better grade of plastic or at least it's way thicker and not flimsy. I wired up 5 of the six switches and immediately was sorry I did not get the 8 button model for scalability. :-o :-) My clock spring on my steering wheel is bad so my horn only work when the wheel is not in the 12 o'clock position. I configured one of the buttons a horn button that only works when you're pressing the button. The other buttons are configured to be traditional press for on and then press for off. So, when it works, it works! It’s a great system that isolates your aftermarket lights completely from the factory systems. In fact the control boards are completely isolated from the load side, via relays. It looks good, at a reasonable price. But here’s why I’m leaving it a one star review. I’ve gone through two of these units, both have failed in under a week of light duty use. With no more than 12hrs of run time on the load side. After doing some diagnostic tests, it was a logic chip failure in the relay box, in both instances. Everything was being fed, nice clean 12-13v DC, including the ignition tap. Speaking of which, we went so far as to check the power feed on the ignition tap with an oscilloscope, and it was completely within expected deviation. Grounds exceeded load test, no resistance anywhere. Everything is properly fused, to boot. The issue is that they use poor quality components that like to give up the ghost. These units are cheaply made and use unmarked components across the board. I do not recommend this system from this distributor. ... show more

Had this for 10 months and worked fine. All of a sudden we had intermittent failures where the switch would light up for a split second and then just blink a little red light. We contacted Nilight and they required us to take videos of all of the connections that could be faulty. After a few emails and some videos (yea its a pain to pull apart shtuffs) they replaced the entire switch and shipped it to us with no charge. Not sure what the problem was, I changed out the switch first because it was easiest. Still did not work, then the relay box, and tested with old switch, still did not work. Then I replaced both, and everything works fine now. That was a few months ago, and everything is still working properly. I have a few Nilight products, and they are def worth their value for the price. ... show more

FIRST, I want to say this is a very nice and very well built product- very nicely packaged and it has some nice features like auto dimming backlight and on / off button memory (pressing the main panel power button, it remembers which circuits you used last time and automatically turns them on again!) this was money well spent! BUT... jeep wrangler owners, I installed this on my 2017 JKU and it was not a simple install. as you're aware, jeep has very little dash real-estate to mount anything! as compact as the main panel is, it was difficult finding a spot to mount this. I chose to mount it to the left of the steering wheel just above the speaker grill. a few additional items you'll want before mounting this... buy two 1/2" rubber grommets, a micro fuse tap an extra 3' of 18 ga red wire and a piece of 1/8" heat shrink & soldier (to properly extend the +ACC wire. I drilled a 1/2" hole inn the dash pad and in the firewall 4" below where the steering shaft is. under the hood, the only place i found to fit the relay box was just behind the ECM module. I had to make 2 custom brackets to mount it (seen in pic) - good news is, there's a factory ground post right there on the fender wall. the relay box battery cable reached the battery just enough- I routed it along the firewall over to the battery, however, the hot (+) ACC wire was way too short and needed to be extended to reach the fuse box. it took me a few hours to install it, but it nearly looks factory installed- To the manufacturer NiLight, I strongly suggest you include a fuse tap in the install kit and make the +ACC wire 3' longer. All that being said- I love the look & feel of the product- and adding accessories will be a snap moving forward! :) ... show more
