We have a passion for all things automotive, and we express this passion through our continued support of Motorsports and the Automotive community as a whole. From sponsoring athletes and drivers to attending and hosting events, The Pedal Commander Team takes our motto of Living Life Full Throttle and embodies it fully. Pedal Commander's exclusive and reliable throttle maps improve throttle response, enhancing driving experience while ensuring safety. Unlock the full potential of your vehicle with Pedal Commander, the go-to choice for performance enthusiasts. Will the Pedal Commander work on my F-150 if I’ve added aftermarket wheels, a lift kit, or exhaust? Yes. The Pedal Commander is fully compatible with common Ford F-150 upgrades like oversized wheels, lift kits, cold air intakes, exhaust systems, and tuners. It only adjusts throttle response, so it won’t interfere with other mods. Does the Pedal Commander increase horsepower or torque on my Ford F-150? No. It does not change engine horsepower or torque. Instead, it removes factory throttle lag, making your F-150 more responsive and giving you instant acceleration when merging, towing, or driving off-road. How does the Pedal Commander benefit towing, hauling, or off-road driving in the F-150? Eco Mode provides smoother low-speed control on dirt, mud, or snow. City and Sport improve responsiveness for everyday driving and towing. Sport+ offers maximum throttle sensitivity for Raptor, FX4. Is installing the Pedal Commander on a Ford F-150 permanent or complicated? No. Installation takes just minutes using a plug-and-play connection at the accelerator pedal. No splicing or special tools are required, and it can be removed anytime without leaving any trace on your truck. Does the Pedal Commander for the F-150 include Bluetooth app control and Anti-Theft? Yes. You can control all driving modes and sensitivity levels from your smartphone via Bluetooth. The Anti-Theft mode disables the pedal, adding an extra layer of security when your F-150 is parked. • The naysayers are clearly uninformed. The Pedal Commander works as advertised
Size: F-150 Raptor F150 2011+
In the interests of full disclosure, it should be noted that I purchased the Pedal Commander ("P.C.") directly from pedalcommander.com. Given the company is within reasonable driving time from our home, I thought it was a safe bet buying directly from the company. I had a few questions about the P.C. and subsequently had a web chat session with Larry, their sales manager. I told Larry that I was considering the PedalMAX, but learned "PedalMAX is made in China, whereas the P.C. is made in the USA." I don't know about you, but I'm growing tired of buying Chinese-made products! Minutes following my web chat session with Larry, I pulled the trigger and made the purchase. The P.C. arrived within 24-hrs. of my consummating the order. Larry even offered to install the P.C. at no added cost; I politely declined, yet I reserved the offer just in case. Larry even tossed in a pretty cool t-shirt, although it appears the t-shirt is part of the purchase. In all, customer service certainly exceeded my expectations. For starters, the P.C. in no way increases H.P. For some reason, naysayers are of the impression these types of devices increase HP. Nope. What it accomplishes, though (and does so flawlessly), is thr elimination of lag time from when the pedal is depressed...throttle response is noticeably abrupt and our Flex now jumps off the line! Merging onto the freeway, and passing cars from lane-to-lane, is an absolute enjoyment. It took me 20-mins. of trial and error to determine that "Sport Mode +3" yielded a whole new degree of driving agility. I'm very much impressed with the Flex's (new and) improved driving characteristics. The device itself, while diminutive in nature, has a good feel to it, and the control module's buttons are responsive to touch. Once I figured out how to remove the accelerator's OEM's connector, total install time took less than 2-mins. I thought the K&N C.A.I. (which, incidentally, added 13 H.P. to the engine, now for a total 300 H.P.) gave our naturally aspirated V-6 new life, but the obvious performance gain (again, not in terms of H.P.) with the P.C. was well worth the investment. Next, is the installation of the Livernois tuner kit. The folks at Livernois tell me, "you'll see gains of over 31 H.P. and torque will increase by 44 ft.-lbs." At this point, we're at Ecoboost levels, but at a fraction of the cost. Pavlovian! PART I Update (3/7/17): folks, the P.C. is no joke. If one really did not know how to "drive," I can see, given the abrupt boost in acceleration and torque (most profound at 3200 RPM), how easy it would be for one to lose control of their car. Our Flex, which has 20" performance tires, now drives like a sports car. I know what you're thinking, "What, a Flex driving like a sports car? Yeah right!" Quite honestly, the P.C. (in tandem with the K&N C.A.I.) have unlocked the V-6's true potential. I really am having a blast driving the Flex around town. And now, I really can't wait to install the Livernois tuner kit. Another thing on my wish list is the addition of a MagnaFlow exhaust kit. PART II: according to the on-board computer, baseline MPG declined by 1.23 using the P.C. This baseline decline may be attributed to the thrill of pushing the envelope and establishing the initial device settings. With the next fill up, I will report back MPGs. However, the Flex's current config is still +3.77 MPG over the stock engine. ... show more

  • JUST BUY IT!
Size: F-250 2011+
I have had this for about a week and this does not disappoint! If you are thinking about it, just buy it. It is worth every penny. The hardest part of the installation is figuring out where to put the module at. Install was 10 minutes easy peasy. I have a Ford Superduty with the 7.3L gasser. This thing woke up the beast within. I can't use the sport + on pavement, I would imagine when I go to the dunes or off roading that mode would be a great help but not good on pavement. I use the the regular sport mode and what a difference. You don't have to mash the pedal, you just step on the pedal easy and steady and she takes off with no lag. On the expressway same thing. I know someone with the Pedal Monster and when I asked how he liked it he said "its ok". So I went with the Pedal Commander. It will take a bit to learn how to drive it to get consistent results. ... show more

  • Extremely worthwhile purchase.
Size: F-150 Raptor F150 2011+
This review is based on my use of this with a 2016 F150 XLT 4x4 with the 5.0 V8. First of all, it is very easy to install. However, when you're taking the wire harness off the truck's pedal controller, there's a tab that you lift up first, then a tab inside the connector that you push inward (sideways) then lift off the controller. Knowing that first will reduce some frustration. Anyway, on to the review: To establish a baseline, my truck does have a performance tune from More Power Tuning's SCT+ tuner. It's got a catback custom off road exhaust where I used two Magnaflow mufflers in line. It's quiet, meaning you can't really hear it idling, but if you get on the pedal it sounds like a truck. It has a CAI from S&B. Everything else performance wise is stock. I ran the cable in between the dash and steering column for a neat, clean look. First start out of the garage, I decided to go for the gusto with Sport+4. I didn't think think this controller was going to make a huge difference. Boy, was I wrong! With the first step on the gas I realized that I was probably going to be turning it down a bit. If you have this truck, you know it has "Sport" mode on the shifter. This Pedal Commander unit totally replaces that button on the shifter. Its not that you can't use it, but it's overkill to the point of impeding drivability. I will likely reserve the truck's stock sport mode to when the Pedal Commander is turned off. In other words, when my wife drives the truck ;) This unit makes the truck quicker due to no lag in the throttle response,Which is essentially what the truck's stock sport mode does, only this unit can do it much more aggressively or much less aggressively, depending on how you set it up. I find that for me, the Pedal Commander sport mode (vs sport+) makes for more controlability. Probably Sport level 2-4 for most driving. For congested driving, I'd definitely turn it down to "City" or just off altogether (Wife mode). I like the fact that you can switch it up on the fly, unlike my performance tune. I haven't had much time other than that to horse around with it, but I can see this thing being a whole lot of fun! Here's a picture of my install. Update after about a month : I still love this gadget. Was even thinking of getting one for my work truck, but $300 is a little steep. I find though that for the best control (power vs drivabilty) the Sport mode level 2 is best all around. I have stock tires though. With bigger tires, you might kick it up a notch or two past that. Also just as cool is that if you actually can manage to not have a lead foot (tough, i know) you can use this thing to save gas quite a bit because you just barely have to touch the pedal to get going. I can't imagine not having this thing now. It's a ton of fun! ... show more

  • Bottom Line Up Front: A good buy.
Size: F-150 Raptor F150 2011+
After some time of using this product, here is a bottom line up front Review. 1) A great buy that brings your truck to life. 2) Install is just as easy as they claim, it took me 5 minutes from unboxing to use. 3) Eliminates almost all lag in digital throttle response and as claimed, adds no HP or Torque. 4) Though the product looks a bit tacky, the mounting kit is top notch if you choose to install the product on your dash. 5) The application is basic yet functions exactly as sold. It took 2 minutes to download and connect. I have tucked the head behind the center console and out of sight and strictly use the app now. ***The following is for my Ford Raptor**** 6) City (0) is very controllable for my wife yet puts a smile on her face. This mode still eliminates the lag. MPG average 15. 7) Sport (0) is a great setting for the spirited driver. MPG average is 13. This mode makes you want to drive fast. 8) Sport Plus (0) is a bit too much for city/highway use IMHO but if I was to ever race my truck, that’s where it would be. MPG average is 10. 9) Bonus, Eco (0) forces you to take it easy, meaning great for valet drivers but also easy on the wallet and great for driving the grandparents around. MPG average 21! Just to test it after some use, I turned it off to see what stock was and I immediately noticed a considerable lag (1-1.5 seconds) from when power was demanded and when power was applied. Though a bit expensive, this is the only modification I can do at the moment and not void the warranty, yet it brings the car to life and gives the only flexibility the car did not provide from the manufacture. ... show more

  • Actually works for a change
Size: F-250 2011+
This absolutely changes the pedal response, from marginally to drastically depending on the settings you choose. 5 basic settings that have about 5 adjustments on each setting, so it's pretty customizable. I have noticed that with the sport mode (not sport+) I get a better response from my F250 gasser and it doesn't seems as sluggish as the factory setting, yet I get a little better gas mileage (not including cruise control). to the tune of 5-10%. This DOES NOT change your tune in the ECU, give you more HP, or adjust your shifts, it only changes the throttle response, so this will vary depending on your driving style. The sport+ mode is pretty darn touchy and can even chirp the tires without expecting to. The eco mode is like a slug as far as response. I haven't tried this to see if it increases mileage, but I expect it would, but be careful as it is truly SLOW to respond and might even be dangerous if you aren't expecting your vehicle to respond THAT slowly. • Definitely makes a huge difference
Size: F350 Super Duty Trucks 2011+
Received it today and installed it. Took my 2014 F350 for a spin and wow first I tried sports level 2 and it responded like a thoroughbred, then tried eco and my mpg went from 15 to 19.5. Needless to say I am very impressed

  • Every car should have this. *EDIT: If it works.....
Size: F150 2011+
Just installed this on my 2012 Ford Edge! I ended up installing it on the left side of the steering wheel base trim (or whatever they call it) as it was a little hard to stick to the textured main dash trim. Ran the wire behind the trim to the bottom and then to the right to the gas pedal. Anyways, easy to install and get going! Boy, love all the levels of sensitivity. Sport mode feels like a bit too much for me for the daily drive, but City mode +2 seems like my sweet spot for now. Maybe that will change as I get used to it. Have to add that I just did a tune through unleashed tuning as well. This just completes the setup. Will update this after more time with it, but for now I love it. Pro-tip: Plan out wether you want to use the hardware control or use the App through Bluetooth. If the former, you can hide it away or tuck it away somewhere since you'll have the app to control the settings. Make sure to get the code behind it if doing this. You'll need it for the app. I found this out late as I used adhesive strips to directly mount the commander instead of using the included bracket. I'd have to unstick the commander to get the code at this point. Anyways, I put it somewhere so I can change the settings easily. Works great and you can really custom tailor your ideal sensitivity with this. All cars need this! **UPDATE 9 Months later: Well, it was all good until now. THIS MAY CAUSE ISSUES DOWN THE ROAD. My wife called me one day saying throttle response lowered incredibly and AWD turn off. Scared me to think I had an unseen PTU leak or something. Upon reading codes right away, I was getting a series of errors from throttle position sensor to accelerator position sensor. Check my throttle body sensor, made sure MAF was good and all, noted and then cleared codes everything worked again for 5 or so days. Then it happened again. This time, more specific to one of the accelerator pedal sensors. Opened up Forscan again and checked data on the sensors—one was not working and I was getting an error on the system for that reason (the computer then averages the two remaining sensors to throttle input I believe). ANYWAYS, long story short, decided it could be the Pedal Commander and unplugged it all two weeks ago. Everything has been dandy since. Seems like a hit or miss thing on models, perhaps? Debating on selling the one on my Fusion that works currently.... ... show more
