I bought this for the cold PNW waters and it does a good job keeping me warm. Make sure you pay attention to the height chart. I am 6’ 2” 170 lbs and the large is just barely tall enough but the width is right on. I expect it may stretch out slightly but it seems to hold its shape pretty well. The zipper feels quality. Overall solid buy.

This “wetsuit” is dangerous, and should be discontinued and recalled immediately. Alternatively, it should be clearly labelled as inappropriate for scuba diving and snorkeling. It is loose. I ordered the M and XL sizes respectively for my son and me. They were too flappy, primarily under the arms, but also at the waist. So we ordered one size lower each, S and L respectively. They had the same problems. One of the functions of a wetsuit in scuba diving and snorkeling is to cling to the body, and create a stable layer or water barrier between the body and surrounding water. If the wetsuit keeps letting fresh water in, the body loses heat much faster than otherwise, leading to at best uncomfortable, and at worst dangerous, dives. Additionally, the wetsuit’s knee pads are well below the knees, in all sizes, defeating their purpose. It appears that someone copied a wetsuit design, but did it with dangerous ineptitude or inattention. We returned all four wetsuits.

Sizing runs strangely. I bought an XL based on the chart and it was way too tight — arms and chest were small, and the crotch-to-neck length was so short it was uncomfortable. I returned it for an XXL, which was only wider in the waist and still oddly short. I’m 5'10", 195 lbs — an XL should have fit. The XXL might work better for someone around 5'9", 220 lbs.

The wetsuit runs a bit small for the XXL; I usually wear L. For open-water swimming, it restricts arm mobility and causes noticeable friction around the neck, which makes it uncomfortable for longer swims. It might work better for other water activities or sports, but it’s not the best choice for swimming
