I'm a 5'7 140 pound women with an apple body shape. The XL fit too tight in the waist and the legs were too loose to be effecitve. However, they are great material and quality, so im giving it 5 stars. I think it would fit other body types well.

These work great! They keep me warm, are easy to put on and take off. I'd recommend wearing a rash guard under it. I wear it with the matching zip up jacket (zips in front). They work great, and are stylish so I don't feel like a weirdo wearing them even when no one else does. Just buy them, then put them on and wear them. Trust me. It works to keep ya warm if that is what you are going for. I LOVE them! One more thing. I purchased the size I normally buy and they are true to size for me.

The shorts “appeared” to be BLACK in the pic on Amazon. Under “color” for description all that was said was “orange/line’. When rec’d they were BLUE ! No where in the posting did it say they were BLUE. Poor description on Amazon by seller. Tried to directly contact selller about this, with no luck. Contacted Amazon, and no reply. Returning…will be buying shorts that specifically state color in on-line description.

Other reviewers noted problems with fit but I found the fit to be true to size. I normally wear a medium (Size 8 or 10) in pants. I ordered a medium and it was a perfect fit. These kept me nice and warm on a cool October Sunfish sail where I launched and beached the boat standing in waist-deep water. I highly recommend these.
