As a pro, I can appreciate the weight saved on this lens vs a 70-200. Love the sharpness as well. The barrel is a bit stiff - my only qualm - and has a lot of resistance when zooming in and out. *** As for the seller - Adorama - the packaging was horrific. With a capital H. *** They had one layer of bubble wrap around the lens box — leaving the top and bottom of the lens box exposed during shipping. The lens is quite compact considering being a zoom one. It fits well on my Z5. The autofocus isn't as fast as my 50mm f:1.2 but I think it's still perfect for photography especially.

I bought this lens when my wife decided to come work with me at horse shows. Its light weight is great for her. She is getting very clear sharp images with it on her Z8 and she can shoot all day with it without the fatigue that comes with a heavier package.
