  • Amazing lens!
Amazing lens! Especially spectacular on low light settings. A little on the heavy side but the autofocus makes up for it.

  • Nikon Z 50mm 1.2
Love this 50. Heavy as hell, but the image quality is definitely worth the trade off for me. Beautiful milky images that are just amazing in every way. If you're looking for a 50 and you get this. You definitely will not be disappointed

  • So much fun.
I am not a professional photographer but I have been wanting a really fast prime for a long time to finish my kit for my Z9. The photos I have taken with this lens are fantastic. I usually shoot birds with my 600mm but this time of year the bird population dwindles so I look for other subjects. The photos are sharp and at f/1.2 you can really get that subject separated from the background. I have learned to prefer non-zoom lenses and this one is a fantastic addition to my collection. ... show more

  • Paired with z6iii
It’s a really sharp lens, very nice bokeh, as a wedding photographer this 50mm is worth the money

  • Nice but heavy
Loved this lens! But it is VERY heavy. Sadly, I had to return it because it hurt my wrist.

  • Super sharp Great Bokeh
This lens is super sharp. The amount of details you get while it’s wide open, is just amazing. Paring this with the Z system, I can short in low light and no issue. There is some vignette, which is expected being open 1.2. Overall, I really recommend this lens for every day use and portraits.

  • Due to Nikon discounting DSLR lenses,
Announced in September 2020, the Nikon Z 50mm f/1.2 S is the latest premium optic available for Nikon’s Z series of mirrorless cameras, and the first f/1.2 lens for the range. Featuring 17 lens elements in 15 groups, including two ED glass elements and three aspherical elements, Nikon claims that this lens is incredibly sharp from edge to edge, and with its f/1.2 maximum aperture is ideally designed for low-light shooting. ... show more
