Beautifully made and easy to use. At f2.8 max aperture indoors without flash is easy. Nikon Z has three lines of zooms: 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200 all S Line and F2.8. The 14-30 and 24-70 f4 all S Line. They have a non S Line f2.8 series which this is the wide offering. It’s a fine offering but I put S Line lenses on my Z8 but I have a Z6iii it goes well on. ... show more

I use it mostly for video with a gimbal stabilizer. The compact size and small weight is a big plus. AF and image quality are excellent. Well worth the price.

I have a nikon z6ii and at the beginning I bought the fix 50 mm that is just amazing but was not allowing me to have a proper shooting during parties at home. So I decided to go with this lens and it’s now my first choise.

    • Amazon states USA model - Nikon states it's not and will not repair
This is bad when Amazon sells a Nikon lens for over $1000 and states it is a USA model but it turns out it's a GREY MARKET. I found out when I tried to register the lens with Nikon for a repair and was informed by Nikon NPS that this is NOT a USA model. So I paid full price for a poor lens without a warranty and now the front glass of the lens rattles. ... show more
