One battery lasts me pretty long for birding day trips. I always have at least a spare in my pack. On a recent half day's outing, I shot about 500 photos, using continuous shooting bird mode + uploading through Snapbridge before I had to change the battery. I also don't keep the camera lens extended for long periods of time or while walking due to dust, which may also deplete the battery since I'm constantly opening and closing the camera. Looked at the non-OEM batteries but decided to pay the big bucks for the Nikon OEM because I didn't want to chance having any issues. So far, so good, but I haven't had it long enough to be able to rate it for longevity. Seems to last as long as the Nikon battery that came with my camera.

This appears to be genuine Nikon. I haven't used it long enough to really rate battery life/longevity, but Amazon keeps bugging me for a review... This battery seems to be identical to the one that came with my camera. Shipping and packaging were appropriate.

These are the best batteries for your Nikon camera, hands down. They last much longer than imitators and are worth the price. This is truly a case of “you get what you pay for.” Save yourself the frustration of dealing with cheaper, but much less reliable Li batteries. These are the best.
