Really loving these night vision NODs. I love how they came with a headpiece attachment so I don't have to buy it separately. The quality is really good, though the nighttime pictures you'll save won't be. Definitely use this for video over picture capture, as it captures super compressed JPEG's. But the video's are great, and it's amazing for live viewings of wildlife at night. Comfortable eye rests, love the manual focus, and powers up and down very quickly for quick viewings. Also the flashlight button is nice in case you need light walking through the woods at night without being stuck with the goggles on. Really easy and fun to use! I've included pictures from the goggles without infrared light being used then with lvl 3 infrared.

I want to love these. There's much to love. But there's one drawback that's almost a dealbreaker. To the extent that my true rating is a 3.5. Here's the good: the picture quality is solid. Even (especially) in total darkness, these things are INCREDIBLE. I last messed with Night Vision like 15 years ago, and it's INCREDIBLE how much the technology has improved. While I would not describe this as 4k like you see on your TV... I'd describe it as simliar to cell phone display quality binoculars in COMPLETE and total darkness. The optical zoom buttons are reversed from how I'd want them to be... zoom in is on the left and zoom out is on the right, which feels backwards, but for the most part the buttons and menu options make sense. While it took me a little playing around to get the binoculars mounted onto the headgear and fitting right, I have been able to use them hands free, and find that they work. Don't expect to be using these for some sort of tactical moment -- they truly are like binoculars, and the amount of the world you see, even fully zoomed out, is a very small square equivalent to the absolute focal point of your visual field. Zoomed in, I would be unable to walk. Focus is also manually handled, leading to even more reason not to use these while in motion. Even still, the quality is phenomenal. There are multiple brightness settings for varying degrees of darkness, a "daytime" mode that basically run this as digital binoculars in color, and then a hybrid mode that would be appropriate for "dark dusk but not total darkness." There's also a flashlight and an infrared light, both of which aren't really necessary even in total darkness. Where I have to knock these things back are two fold. One, and this is a quibble, they feel pretty cheap in the hand. The plastic frame is thin and too-light. But that's a qubble. The biggest issue, and this would essentially be a dealbreaker for me if I were to be back in the market for nighvision again, is that the button/battery pack for the flashlight extends out in the middle of the two eyepieces, meaning that a sharp, knurled knob is constantly stabbing into the bridge of your nose. It's terribly uncomfortable, and I truly have no idea why this obvious design flaw wasn't addressed in the initial stages of this product. It's borderline unusuable for more than a few minutes. I don't have an excessively large nose either. It's a real shame. Would have been a great product, instead, it's only good, and even then only in small painful doses.

These work, and they are kind of fun to use, but they aren't great quality. The device looks like it's stereo viewing, but it is really mono vision. You also have to manually focus the lens using the left viewing port. It has a built in flashlight whch would help navigate in the dark. The device will accept micro SD cards to record onto. The device doesn't actually let you look through it, it has two little screens inside that project what is seen through the left camera. The right side of the goggles contains the infrared emitter. It allows you to select up to three brightness levels. When in infrared mode, the viewing displays both show black and white imaging. Do they work, yes. Are they quality, no. If you are looking for something fun to take camping, these are it. If you are looking for quality night vision goggles to use while hunting, might want to pay a little more and find something else. While the USB charging is nice, having the ability in the dark to exchange batteries quickly might be a better way to go. The center tube looks like it should house an 18650 battery. This could make it rechargeable and interchangeable which could improve the versatility, and the longevity of the unit. It's a fun device, a little gimmicky, but OK. I certainly wouldn't trust it for high profile risky situations, but for having fun around home or in the woods, it's great.

I haven’t used night vision goggles in years and have been very impressed with the tech improvement over the years. I’m able to scan our backyard in the complete darkness. Video works really well. Pictures don’t come out as clear but that’s reasonable based on the price point. Really great product that is comfortable to wear and produces a good product.

I used it to check out the faraway trees and buildings at night, and the picture it showed was way better than I thought. The colors looked really natural. Even when I zoomed in, the image stayed clear, no blurriness at all. The eyepatch fits great, and the head part can be adjusted, so it's super comfy to wear.

Good for outdoor activities that require log-distance night vision. I like that they actually function as binoculars, instead of some models that require you to hold them out and look at a screen. It's also convenient to have the head mount, even though they were quire uncomfortable and ended up resting on my nose - though this could just be a personal fit kind of thing. The quality was very impressive, and the IR light worked at a very long distance. I actually wish they could be used for more close seeing, as even the widest view is quite zoomed in. The only other gripe I have with these is the manual focus, even if it is quite easy to dial in.

I’m not going to go into this review too much because I don’t know enough about this to comment one way or another. As soon as I charged it and went to use it, I figured out that you can’t adjust the width between the eyepieces. I’m sure it will fit someone out there, but unfortunately I am not one of those people. I think 3 stars is a fair score due something that I personally can’t even use correctly.
