Bought last week and tested it out. Works surprisingly well. It's not as great as something that's worth 3000 but it's still works well. Can see fairly clearly at night. Would be good for night hunting, fishing, or other activities that requires better visibility at night. Might get some more as Christmas presents.

These arrived well packaged. The instructions are clear. The goggles are not really goggles, but more like a reverse binocular. The part where you would normally put your eyes, is actually one lens that focuses (left) and one infra-red sensor (right.) The package included a 32 Gigabyte memory card, which is inserted in the bottom, under a rubber cover. There is also a port on the bottom for USB-C charging, and the cable comes in the package. You can also screw a tripod into the bottom. On top, there are a bunch of controls, including zoom in and zoom out, and green and purple filters. I didn't get much utility from the green and purple filters, but I saw videos that made them seem more useful. You can record photos and videos onto the memory card that can be transmitted via the USB cable to your computer. I tried this out over a couple of nights in my neighborhood to mixed results. If there is no light, these won't work. With just a little light, and that can be a couple of stars or the Moon, they work very well. If you look at photo three, you can see what I saw through the viewfinder. The bright part is the viewfinder and the dark part of the picture is how dark it actually was. So, I think that in the right circumstances these will function well.

I am giving these night vision viewer (VIEWER) 2.5* based on quality of build and ease of use and "they tried". I always round up a half star but note that I am really only rating these a 2.5*. • Image quality is not impressive to me. At all. My 5 year old outdoor cameras perform better in IR. • I'm not impressed with the distance range of these. You have to be pretty far back from an object to view it and then you can't even zoom in enough to make it worth your time • again: image quality has not impressed me, through the viewer anyway. I haven't even tried taking a photo with the enclosed mini SD card That's all I got. These may be good to look out your OPEN window in the middle of the night (IR will reflect your glass at you) or out of an open doorway or on a camping trip however you will not at all be stealthy. I gaslit myself and my own experiences reading the other reviews and wonder if I got the same quality of night vision viewer that they did because I am not terribly impressed. I was so excited to get this too.

These binoculars are really cool. The picture is really clear on the screen. You can take pictures and videos of the things you see and it has all sorts of cool features.

So, these are not really night vision goggles, they are basically a digital binocular that has night vision capabilities. Don't get me wrong, they are totally awesome, but they won't mount on a tactical helmet like a true set of NVGs will. They image quality is super clear, and it has regular daylight mode and night vision mode. Both modes have adjustable focus and display a very clear image on a relatively large screen instead of having eye pieces to look through. It also comes with a TF card that you can insert into the bottom next to the USB C charging port. Once you insert the TF card, you can take instant snap shots of whatever is in the viewfinder for viewing later. This is one of my favorite features! These are great for checking out things that go bump in the night out in the back yard or for having fun playing hide and seek at night with the kiddos. I think that these will provide enjoyment to anyone who gets the chance to use them!

In pitch black it not that good but a little light works . For example this time of year it dairy at 7 pm but if you use this it’s like 6:15 you able to see what there but it’s fuzzy it seems to magnify what little light is there. It works best if used with a flash light . I would not use it for night hunting if I was a security guard at an outdoor area with minimal lighting I would probably be happy with it . I’ve only used it for a hour or so so far I will edit this review if I see anything additional positive or negative
