Very pleased with this unit, it is a solid piece of furniture and looks very nice in our guest bedroom. Although it does save space, vs a regular queen bed, It is not small so be sure to measure how it will fit in your room first. For us it was perfect. I paid for it to be assembled before delivery and that was money well spent, although I don't think it would have been hard to put together myself, I don't think I could have done a better job and the preassembly saved me several hours of work. It arrived VERY well packed and ready for use, it was delivered exactly on time as promised and I felt the customer service via the provided phone number was efficient and helpful. We had to make special arrangements to meet the semi-truck driver at the Lowes parking lot, as he could not turn around on our cul de sac. We went to great lengths to unbox it right on his truck to inspect for damage, as was repeatedly advised. That took a while and the driver was friendly, but not very helpful, although he did help my husband get it loaded, which was fine in our opinion, since we had to meet him to load it in the first place. All looked good and we got it in our two vehicles in pieces to bring home. Yes, we had a mini van and a Toyota Tacoma and it took every bit of both vehicles. Once we got it home, it was not too difficult to bring in the house one piece at a time and set up in our office right inside our front. Had we needed to take it much further, I think my husband would have had to find some helper. It is very sturdy and quite attractive and fit in our space perfectly (which is tight). We've slept on it several nights and it is very comfortable, especially with a quality mattress pad. It is very nice, but recommend you have a plan as it is big and heavy! ... show more

I ordered two different cube-based murphy beds back to back, this being one of them. Of the two, this takes the cake. It was easy to assemble, already coming pretty much assembled, just needing to move it to the room you want in pieces and plug and play a few screws. The biggest draw back for any cube-based murphy bed, is that where you rest your head is enclosed with walls for a few feet. A queen sized bed for 1 adult and this isn't a problem (sleep in the middle of the bed). But if there are two adults, you may have some issues unless you plan on spooning in the center all night. I don't think people realize how much we lean our heads off the edges of the bed, or our arms, until there's a wall blocking us from being able to do so. Of course, just flip sides, and your feet are within the cube's walled enclosure. Then you just run the risk of a 2AM jammed toe. Concussion, or a jammy pinky? The choice is yours. First off, let me say that this bed comes PRE-ASSEMBLED. Normally these beds are around $1300-$1400 without assembly, so in my opinion, the extra bit of money is well worth it to not spend an hour or more putting it together. With kids running around, that's just not feasible in my house. Now, on to the good stuff. I know this is supposed to be a guest bed, but because we live in a super small place, we are using this as an actual everyday bed. With that being said, the quality is obviously pretty good because of all the use it is getting. "Unfolding" it and turning it into a bed is super easy. Takes only about 2-3 minutes. Putting it back takes about the same amount of time. The mattress is exactly as described - cooling gel memory foam. No night sweats and super comfortable. It is a firm mattress, but still comfortable nonetheless. I myself like a firm mattress but my wife likes a super soft mattress, and even she is pleased with this mattress. Also, I would like to point out that I am 6'7 and this mattress is long enough, even for me. Now let's talk about the seller. Nick (the gentleman that took care of us) was phenomenal. From the moment of purchase until the delivery, he was with us every step of the way. Even when the freight company (located in Georgia) was dragging their feet and rescheduled us THREE TIMES, he got on their butts to get us this bed. And, even though he didn't have to, he refunded us money for the inconvenience of having to wait extra time. I definitely recommend this seller AND this product. You won't be disappointed. UPDATE JANUARY 11, 2022: We are STILL using this bed daily and it is holding up beautifully, even after we put on some quarantine weight. Still highly recommend this bed! ... show more

    • Just what I wanted!

I've been looking at this cabinet bed for quite some time, trying to decide if I wanted to spend the money. I'm very glad I did! I wanted it for the spare bedroom where my young grandchildren usually play, without taking up the space that a "regular" bed would. This is perfect. Lots of room for them on a regular basis, but an additional queen bed when I need it for company. The cabinet bed was extremely well packed for shipping, with lots of care taken to be sure it arrived in perfect condition. The bed is solid, well made, and has a beautiful finish. At the suggestion of the seller about how to maneuver the bed into my house ( I called with questions), we removed the top first, carried it inside, then the mattress, then the remaining "shell" of the cabinet. It wasn't difficult at all for my son-in-law and I to do. I will say that setting up the bed for sleeping is a little harder than I had hoped, but only because moving the mattress from its storage position up onto the platform part is somewhat awkward. Being a tri-fold mattress, there isn't a good way to grab and lift it up without having to walk back and forth a bit. ( I'm thinking of crafting some soft of sling to sit under it to grab onto so I won't end up tearing the mattress cover) However, once it's in place, it's very comfortable for sleeping, and I'm very pleased with the purchase! Since SDS assembles the bed prior to shipping, this was definitely the route for me!! ... show more
