I like that the cabinet bed has a design that doesn't use casters to pull out and in. This folding, genius design is sturdy and easy to do. One person can set it up and put it away easily. I ordered it pre-assembled and it came quickly, and without damage. The mattress is comfortable at first testing too. Im really happy with this purchase. I did a lot of research and settled on this cabinet bed. It truly is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. When folded up it looks like a dresser and doesn’t take up much space in a small second bedroom in our apartment. It’s easy to set up and take down. The mattress is quite comfortable and we put a foam topper on it under a mattress cover. We tried it out before having guests sleep on it and it is as comfortable as our own bed. We are extremely pleased with this purchase. We paid for delivery to our apartment and the delivery man brought it up and unboxed it for us. I’d recommend spending the extra money for this. I could not have brought it up from curbside myself…it’s a big piece of furniture, well-made and heavy.

We had to make special arrangements to meet the semi-truck driver at the Lowes parking lot, as he could not turn around on our cul de sac. We went to great lengths to unbox it right on his truck to inspect for damage, as was repeatedly advised. That took a while and the driver was friendly, but not very helpful, although he did help my husband get it loaded, which was fine in our opinion, since we had to meet him to load it in the first place. All looked good and we got it in our two vehicles in pieces to bring home. Yes, we had a mini van and a Toyota Tacoma and it took every bit of both vehicles. Once we got it home, it was not too difficult to bring in the house one piece at a time and set up in our office right inside our front. Had we needed to take it much further, I think my husband would have had to find some helper. It is very sturdy and quite attractive and fit in our space perfectly (which is tight). We've slept on it several nights and it is very comfortable, especially with a quality mattress pad. It is very nice, but recommend you have a plan as it is big and heavy!

I got a pre-assembled bed: BEWARE of the delivery limitations on this bed! It came via freight service, and it's VERY heavy. The driver is not allowed to bring it into your home. He was very courteous and even apologetic, but those are the rules. You'll be told all this in advance, and some of these limitations are listed in the item description, though to me "curbside" doesn't necessarily mean they'll have to leave it outside, so that's a lesson for me. Also, this is delivered on a pallet. They are instructed to leave the pallet behind, but we were able to convince the nice driver to take it away. My husband and I got it into our home and placed in the room, finally, but it took a TON of effort. If you 1) live alone, or 2) live in an apartment/condo situation where you have no help and trash is a hassle to get rid of, you need to be prepared. As for the bed, it's nice. I don't really like the Antique White finish because to me it looks like a big, slightly unfinished crate sitting in my room. It was hard to tell from the pictures exactly how it would look, so I'm going to live with it, but higher-quality pictures would be appreciated for an item that's this expensive and bulky (i.e. hard to return). If the manufacturer could offer swatches/samples of the finish, that would be a great add. The bed assembles and disassembles quite easily. I'm a 60-year-old woman with shoulder issues, but I can still do it without problems. The mattress was our biggest concern, and it's surprisingly comfortable! I may still get a mattress topper for it. Got this for a guest bed when needed, so we'll sleep on it ourselves one night to give it a real test drive. Overall happy with the bed. It's sturdy and well made. Just be aware of the dimensions because it's bigger than I expected it to feel once it's in the room.

Very well made and beautiful. I am a small woman (5'1" and 119 pounds) who can totally set up this bed on my own. The delivery process was very easy. The packing around the bed to prevent damage was very impressive and worked very well as there was no damage on arrival. The mattress that comes with it is a very nice thickness, softness and good quality, and I tried it out myself and works great. Folds aways very easily. I have a small bedroom that this went into and as I don't have many guests did not want it be a bedroom all the time and this was the perfect fit. When not in use I have a small, lightweight TV on top and use the room as a workout room. I like that I did not have to bolt the bed to the wall as you do with most Murphy type beds and this allows me to be able to rearrange the furniture in the room to suit my needs. The outer design is beautiful as is the color. I have seen similar beds such as this at some furniture stores for $6,000, but they were not as well made as this one. I would highly recommend this bed.

First off, let me say that this bed comes PRE-ASSEMBLED. Normally these beds are around $1300-$1400 without assembly, so in my opinion, the extra bit of money is well worth it to not spend an hour or more putting it together. With kids running around, that's just not feasible in my house. Now, on to the good stuff. I know this is supposed to be a guest bed, but because we live in a super small place, we are using this as an actual everyday bed. With that being said, the quality is obviously pretty good because of all the use it is getting. "Unfolding" it and turning it into a bed is super easy. Takes only about 2-3 minutes. Putting it back takes about the same amount of time. The mattress is exactly as described - cooling gel memory foam. No night sweats and super comfortable. It is a firm mattress, but still comfortable nonetheless. I myself like a firm mattress but my wife likes a super soft mattress, and even she is pleased with this mattress. Also, I would like to point out that I am 6'7 and this mattress is long enough, even for me. Now let's talk about the seller. Nick (the gentleman that took care of us) was phenomenal. From the moment of purchase until the delivery, he was with us every step of the way. Even when the freight company (located in Georgia) was dragging their feet and rescheduled us THREE TIMES, he got on their butts to get us this bed. And, even though he didn't have to, he refunded us money for the inconvenience of having to wait extra time. I definitely recommend this seller AND this product. You won't be disappointed. UPDATE JANUARY 11, 2022: We are STILL using this bed daily and it is holding up beautifully, even after we put on some quarantine weight. Still highly recommend this bed!

This bed is amazing for a guest room. The mattress is as you’d expect from a trifold/sleeper, so the rating doesn’t deserve a negative for that (you know what you’re getting). But it beautiful tucks away and into itself. The wood is sturdy, it doesn’t look cheap, and the aesthetic is neutral enough that it blends with most styles.

Although I could have bought this model to assemble myself, I decided to buy the assembled version and save myself the aggravation. I bought this from SDS and Nick is great to work with. I also arranged with him to get this put in my room of choice at an additional cost but again saving myself and my husband time and aggravation. We are older so we don't want to throw out our backs at this point in life. The first unit arrived damaged so we did not accept it. I contacted SDS and they immediately sent out another unit. Awesome service there. The new unit arrived today in perfect condition. Even the delivery guys were impressed with it as we quickly put it in the bed position. The mattress is nice and appears to be reasonably thick. Based on the reviews, I already purchased a topper for it which I am certain will make it even more comfortable. The bed was very easy to put in sleeping position. The latches functioned smoothly and it worked perfectly. It seems to be really comfortable especially with a two inch topper (three inches would probably work if you want it softer). This should accommodate any company that we get in comfort. When not in use, it will just serve as a cabinet to place some stuff on since this room is also my office. It just gives us better space for other things like my treadmill but still allows us to have someplace comfortable for company. I would say this is one of the best purchases I have made with Amazon. Many thanks to SDS for offering such great customer service. I am extremely happy!!!
