Excellent quality! Beautiful when it is tucked away as a cabinet. Comfortable mattress also. This is in my office/guest room and it's perfect. Didn't want to build a murphy bed myself and also didn't want my space cluttered with a bed that gets used two weeks per year. This is the perfect solution. We will buy a second one for our second guest room soon. It does come in a box and it is already assembled (you can carry the large parts to your room and its very simple to put them together). No construction or drilling or screws. Shipping was different than usual. A shipping company will contact you and schedule delivery and bring it by on a tractor trailer (or box truck if you live where an 18 wheeler won't fit).

This was such a great purchase. I needed another queen bed for my grandkids to spend the night but didn’t want to give up their playroom. This piece of furniture is so perfect for the space. I love the fact that it is fully assembled and the bed is so easy to set up. The mattress is comfortable however I purchased a foam topper to make it even more comfortable. I also like the fact that there is room in the cabinet to store linens.

Very well made and beautiful. I am a small woman (5'1" and 119 pounds) who can totally set up this bed on my own. The delivery process was very easy. The packing around the bed to prevent damage was very impressive and worked very well as there was no damage on arrival. The mattress that comes with it is a very nice thickness, softness and good quality, and I tried it out myself and works great. Folds aways very easily. I have a small bedroom that this went into and as I don't have many guests did not want it be a bedroom all the time and this was the perfect fit. When not in use I have a small, lightweight TV on top and use the room as a workout room. I like that I did not have to bolt the bed to the wall as you do with most Murphy type beds and this allows me to be able to rearrange the furniture in the room to suit my needs. The outer design is beautiful as is the color. I have seen similar beds such as this at some furniture stores for $6,000, but they were not as well made as this one. I would highly recommend this bed.

I got a pre-assembled bed: BEWARE of the delivery limitations on this bed! It came via freight service, and it's VERY heavy. The driver is not allowed to bring it into your home. He was very courteous and even apologetic, but those are the rules. You'll be told all this in advance, and some of these limitations are listed in the item description, though to me "curbside" doesn't necessarily mean they'll have to leave it outside, so that's a lesson for me. Also, this is delivered on a pallet. They are instructed to leave the pallet behind, but we were able to convince the nice driver to take it away. My husband and I got it into our home and placed in the room, finally, but it took a TON of effort. If you 1) live alone, or 2) live in an apartment/condo situation where you have no help and trash is a hassle to get rid of, you need to be prepared. As for the bed, it's nice. I don't really like the Antique White finish because to me it looks like a big, slightly unfinished crate sitting in my room. It was hard to tell from the pictures exactly how it would look, so I'm going to live with it, but higher-quality pictures would be appreciated for an item that's this expensive and bulky (i.e. hard to return). If the manufacturer could offer swatches/samples of the finish, that would be a great add. The bed assembles and disassembles quite easily. I'm a 60-year-old woman with shoulder issues, but I can still do it without problems. The mattress was our biggest concern, and it's surprisingly comfortable! I may still get a mattress topper for it. Got this for a guest bed when needed, so we'll sleep on it ourselves one night to give it a real test drive. Overall happy with the bed. It's sturdy and well made. Just be aware of the dimensions because it's bigger than I expected it to feel once it's in the room.

Needed something for my spare room that I could put away easily to use the space for other functions. This was a great idea. I like that the cabinet bed has a design that doesn't use casters to pull out and in. This folding, genius design is sturdy and easy to do. One person can set it up and put it away easily. I ordered it pre-assembled and it came quickly, and without damage. The mattress is comfortable at first testing too. Im really happy with this purchase. The white glove delivery helped me immensely, because of time constraints. So glad that was an option. Great company, unique & good quality product, and wonderful customer service.

I did a lot of research and settled on this cabinet bed. It truly is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. When folded up it looks like a dresser and doesn’t take up much space in a small second bedroom in our apartment. It’s easy to set up and take down. The mattress is quite comfortable and we put a foam topper on it under a mattress cover. We tried it out before having guests sleep on it and it is as comfortable as our own bed. We are extremely pleased with this purchase. We paid for delivery to our apartment and the delivery man brought it up and unboxed it for us. I’d recommend spending the extra money for this. I could not have brought it up from curbside myself…it’s a big piece of furniture, well-made and heavy.

I chose this piece as we needed something that wouldn’t take up a bunch of room since the spare bedroom is also an office. I’m scared of the wall beds with having a child around and I liked the idea that this looks like a piece of furniture when not in use. It’s pricier than the bed we sleep on every night so it was a bit of an investment. The shipping is weird, you submit a form and then the shipper calls you to set up a time for delivery. When this massive, what looks like a mini shipping container, gets delivered, it has a bunch of foam, box, and wood palate. The cool thing is that once you unpackaged it, it’s pretty much pre pre built, so it took 10 minutes to put together. It seems sturdy although we’ve only used it a free times. I bought a topper to go on the mattress and it folds up fine without having to take the topper off. It’s easy to unfold and fold back up and guests hands said it’s comfortable. Happy with the purchase and hope it lasts for a while.

Although I could have bought this model to assemble myself, I decided to buy the assembled version and save myself the aggravation. I bought this from SDS and Nick is great to work with. I also arranged with him to get this put in my room of choice at an additional cost but again saving myself and my husband time and aggravation. We are older so we don't want to throw out our backs at this point in life. The first unit arrived damaged so we did not accept it. I contacted SDS and they immediately sent out another unit. Awesome service there. The new unit arrived today in perfect condition. Even the delivery guys were impressed with it as we quickly put it in the bed position. The mattress is nice and appears to be reasonably thick. Based on the reviews, I already purchased a topper for it which I am certain will make it even more comfortable. The bed was very easy to put in sleeping position. The latches functioned smoothly and it worked perfectly. It seems to be really comfortable especially with a two inch topper (three inches would probably work if you want it softer). This should accommodate any company that we get in comfort. When not in use, it will just serve as a cabinet to place some stuff on since this room is also my office. It just gives us better space for other things like my treadmill but still allows us to have someplace comfortable for company. I would say this is one of the best purchases I have made with Amazon. Many thanks to SDS for offering such great customer service. I am extremely happy!!!
