I have thick and puffy hair, and haven't really figured out a good hair routine. I've always had to use hair straightners to help my hair look decent. I would hate it cause my hair would look like a straw at the ends and my scalp would get oily within a few hours frm the heat. I also had the burnt hair smell the whole time 🙄 I DON'T have any of those issues since purchasing this brush! As a mom, It's quick and easy to use when I'm I'm in a rush. It's not too heavy but doesn't feel cheap either. Depending on the way you style it, you can get a nice blowout look (: it comes with a glove and some hairclips which I really like. This hot brush is absolutely amazing! Now, many folks is confusing this brush for a flat iron. Well it’s NOT! It’s a brush and it did it’s job. Granted, I only used it a couple of times so far. And noticed upon completion it wasn’t completely flat but my hair was straight and felt so much more healthier. No burn smell, no burns on my skin (ears especially). An amazing invention and a smart investment. What I loved most was I was able to do my entire head of hair in approximately 8 divided sections within 20-30 minutes vs. 1 1/2 - 2 hours. When I was done I DID grab the flat iron and hit my hair as a whole and flattened my ends which you see in final picture and that took literally 2-3 minutes. A wise investment indeed, without burning all my hair out. This brush is and should be referred to as, “The Big Hair Tamer.” I hope my review will help clarify some doubts. This was a great find. It was a gift for my mom, she has very curly hair which can get frizzy too. The first time she tried the straightener the result was great. Her hair was super smooth and shiny. She said she had no issues using it and was impressed with how quickly and easily it actually worked. She also said she really likes the auto off. You don't have those moments when you leave the house and get stressed out trying to remember if you shut off the straightener or not. I have come across similar items selling for over 100 dollars, but this has high reviews at a price that cannot be beaten. I love the design and how fast it heats up. I use it when I don't want to blow dry my hair. It does heat up a bit, so use a silicone mat underneath to prevent burning your surroundings. This straightener is perfect for my hair in the morning. My hair tends to curl if I don't blow-dry it. It takes about 3 min for me to straighten my wavey hair.
