We had a situation where our two dogs were really feeding off each other and as one was alert barking the other wanted to alert even more and it was like a tournament of which one could alert to the drop of a pin. Thinking we could curb it with treats, distraction, doggie obedience training, wearing them out, if it was suggested, we tried it. Enough was enough. We already had one bark collar and we ordered this one as the second. I zapped myself (because you should never do to an animal that which you are unwilling to do to yourself) and, while not happy we were needing to do this, I knew it was worth a try. I swear, it only had to engage once and that was the last time our 3 year old dog continued the alert barking. From that moment forward, if either of the dogs' collar made the warning beep (you can turn off the shock and make it only beep), she would walk away from the situation like "wasn't me" and go lay down. Within a few days, the 2 year old dog was doing the same thing when she noticed how much praise we were giving the other dog. Our house is now so peaceful. We are greeted at the door by two very happy, tail wagging pups rather than barking, insane, out of their mind animals. I am unsure about the battery life if we continued using the shock feature but we kept it on for a week and did not need to recharge. Now we only use beep and vibration and only charge once a week. We absolutely NEVER had it activate from the bark of our the other dog. We did however have it activate when my husband was roughhousing with her and making growling noises, so to be safe, if you are going to play with your dog, take the collar off.

I would normally wait a few days to write a review, but this thing is such a game changer. Knowing my dog is a very vicious barker (teddy bear, but sounds terrifying) and barks at everything, I set it to beep and vibration (refuse to use shock, just my persobal belief) at level 5. He is roughly 35 pounds, so he falls in the medium size category. Once we came in from the morning outing, I put the collar on making sure it wasn't too tight and to be honest, it may be a little loose. With a new roof being put on across the street I knew it would be a good test day. This dog would normally be barking at all the noise outside, all day long. He has barked twice. Both times I heard a beep and vibration and he stopped. He has not barked since. He has figured out he can growl with it on, but I will take that over the constant, head splitting barking. For further reference, he is 4 and a half years old and has been spoiled with being able to bark when he wants. Why I waited to get something like this baffles me now. We are still on day one, so I can't speak to longevity, but it definitely does what it is supposed to do.

I have a 8lb 13 month old Dorky who has started barking at anything that moves outside our home, dogs, birds, people walking by, the mailman, me when I don't take her with me everytime I go outside, the wind blowing the limbs on the trees, well you get the idea. Then when I close the front door so she can't see outside she barks at any sound she doesn't like and our cat (mostly because she wants to play and the cat doesn't she's a 9 year old cat) She never barked like this until about 3 months ago and I have tried redirection, scolding her, everything I could think of and nothing stopped her from barking like she does. I wanted something that would deter if not stop her from this bad habit and decided to try this collar for it's amazing reviews, and I'm sure happy I did. This collar came with a great user manual and was easy to set up. I like all the setting options you have with this one so you can choose what's best for you and your dog. After putting this collar on my dog and the first time she barked with it on she has not barked again. I have it on vibrate right now and she does not like that sensation so she has stopped barking. It's been a miracle!! I'm so happy I gave this collar a try and am looking forward to a much quieter happy home. Thanks for making such a great product!!

Ordered July 8, received July 10. Fast service, simple directions. I have a tiny terrier mix (>10 lbs), and was concerned both about hurting her and about the collar being too large for her. It is a bit bulky on her, but not so large that she cannot move around. She is obviously aware of having something unusual around her neck, but doesn't seem to be in any active pain or discomfort because of it. I tested the shock on myself, at the lowest setting, and it was sharp/painful enough that I almost dropped the collar. Certainly enough to get anyone's attention. I really like that the collar starts with a warning beep, then a vibrate, and uses the shock as a last resort. The warning beep and vibration seemed to be enough for my dog--I've never yet witnessed her barking enough to receive any shock, after receiving the warnings. I share the confidence of other reviewers, that the initial warnings are sufficient to keep my dog from barking enough to receive a shock--ever. So much the better. I haven't used it enough to know about battery life yet. So far I haven't had to recharge it, 2 weeks later. The initial charge took between 1-2 hours. I'm pleased with this product and would recommend it for other pet owners who are especially concerned about being overly harsh in their training. This product starts with being gentle but firm first, and only being painful if/when gentle firmness fails.

The media could not be loaded. Don't let the colorful display fool you, this is serious tool for bark correction. I have several doggos in my home, which is next to a road frequently traveled by bicyclists and equestrians - both of which my mini-pack *loves* to bark at. And don't get me started about what happens each time the Amazon driver comes by :). As a result, I've tested many different collars over the years. While several of our doggos need only the beep or vibration, a few only respond to a shock. At that point, we have to be thoughtful about which of the collars we use since some of collars may provide a shock that is too weak (or too strong) for the dog it's going on. Enter the NHUJK Bark Collar. This collar provides the familiar 2 button input to adjust the usual sensitivity level and correction combination (sound/vibrate/shock). However the NHUJK also provides 2 different levels of shock correction allowing you to tailor the level to the specific dog. This makes it easier to apply the minimum level of correction needed to get the behavior you need. The display is one of the most attractive I've seen on a collar. While I tend to favor a "less is more" approach with this type of device, I must admit that the large, bright and color coded display makes setting the collar so much easier with my aging eyes. I don't need to get a bright light or readers out to see what I'm doing. A special charge cable is provided with the collar and the charger connects to the collar with a 2 pin magnetic contact adapter. I've used this type of cable before and have come to prefer it over the more common micro-USB adapter. It is very simple to align the charger pins to the contacts. Additionally, the contacts on the collar are sealed against moisture improving durability. In the photos, you may notice that the collar's case and display have already seen some rough duty - proof that durability is an important factor with this type of tool. Note: I reviewed this collar after accepting the seller’s product trial invitation. Even if you don't agree with the number of stars, it's my hope the information contained in the review is useful.

This definitely helped train my dog to stop barking, but it also definitely has issues. What is GREAT: I’m not a fan of “zappy“ collars. The fact that I could remove the electrodes completely, and use only the tone and the buzzer is excellent. The interface is very easy to figure out, and also to understand with barely a glance. Sensitivity levels are easy to control and there are enough of them to match virtually any environment. It’s waterproof and scratch resistant. Battery life (while not using the shock function) is phenomenal. What is TERRIBLE: The “smart” functionality of this collar is almost useless. They advertise that it will “learn“ your dogs voice, so that it will not activate when in with other dogs that are barking. In reality, it can’t even figure out my own dogs voice. Initially it would buzz when he barked, but not when he would whimper or play growl. Then, overtime, it would start randomly triggering when he would whimper softly, or huff, and frequently not trigger when he would bark. Fortunately, my dog learns very, very quickly, and in the space of about a week and a half’s use, he has all but stopped barking. Based on my experience, however, I would caution that if you have a more stubborn dog, this may not ultimately be your best choice because you can’t depend on it to work consistently. The smart function definitely needs more work. It might be kind of cool if they could figure out a way to have a “training mode“ that doesn’t apply any correction but just listens to your dogs voice over time and learns it’s range. Then maybe apply filters to certain types of sounds so that the dog isn’t corrected for sounds that are not barking.

Loved the fact that it works immediately. 8 month old 30lb puppy had started learning to bark about 4 am to wake up up for WALK TIME. way too early, so I bought this collar with fingers crossed. After putting it on just for two nights, so in the am he wouldn't bark, it has been wonderful! I leave it loose, and just use the Vibration setting is enough negative reinforcement that after one or two barks the first morning, he immediately learned. Nice thing is, we take it off when we get up and he still feels free to bark, which is ok, for the rest of the day. Thrilled with the peace of mind, ability to sleep, and I don't feel "guilty" like when he would bark wanting out of his kennel area. Now, he waits for OUR schedule. I love it! Would definitely recommend product, as it was a great training tool to help us teach him not to bark at particular times.

We got this collar for our reactive dog with high separation anxiety. She used to bark, bray like a donkey and go nuts at every noise and ride in the car, and nothing we did helped. We already had a training collar with beep and vibrate settings, but we could never reach the controller when needed. This collar beeps and vibrates (we don't use the shock) on its own whenever she barks and she runs to her bed. It is simple to operate and battery life it great, with just a quick recharge every week or so. It's sturdy, fastens and adjusts well, and has helped control our dog's incessant barking.

My family recently adopted a second dog. He's a senior and wasn't fully trained - and unfortunately the poor guy is hard of hearing. He barked frequently, and our other dog quickly picked up on the habit. Since he was frequently waking up the family in the middle of the night with barking, we really wanted a humane solution that worked quickly. We haven't ever used the shock feature, so I'm not sure how that specific feature works. However, the vibration alone works as an immediate deterant. The collar holds a charge for an extremely long time. It lasts quite a few days with our use. Very rarely will another dog barking set the vibration off. (Maybe only a couple times when another pup barked loudly near him.)

These collars have saved my plants and my nerves. We have 4 over grown fur babies that do not believe that anyone or thing should be allowed to walk past our house, nor should any other dog live next to us. Our backyard has dogs on all 3 sides and my backyard looked like it had a dirt track all around it from them running up and down the fence lines acting a fool barking and growling at all the neighbors dogs. We spent $700 this summer to buy plants and boarder to keep them from doing this. It did not stop them and they were killing all our plants. We thought about putting up an electric fence so they could not get close to the plants or the privacy fence, but we decided to try the bark collars first. Lucky for us and them, they have so far solved our problem. In the pictures you will see my 4 babies and since the collars you can see my plants have been able to grow.

I was hesitant in buying a training collar for my dog but we were desperate in trying something new. I was concerned about using a shock collar and decided to go with this product that allows three different settings of vibration, sound, and shock. Upon immediately putting the collar on my dog with only the vibration and sound worked instantly. Now when my dog acts out i simply pull out the collar and usually showing it to him has the same affect. At times I put it on my dog without actually activating the device and it still has a lasting influence on his behavior. Great product I highly recommend.

This collar has been totally effective on my 1 year old Australian Shepherd. She got so she was barking at every little noise, and even at us when we would come through the front door. Two weeks of intermittent use of this collar and she has mostly ceased barking, unless the occasion really calls for it. I have not had to use the shock feature at all- just the level 4 (she is 50 lb), and most of the time the beep that precedes the vibration is enough to correct the behavior. Love that is comes with a lifetime warranty!

I have a 16 lb dog that will bark all day long while I'm at work, so I needed an effective yet humane solution. I live in an apartment, so I have neighbors that surely don't want to hear him barking all day long. Also, I could get into trouble if they were to complain, so I ordered this dog bark collar. My first impressions were that it's of high build quality. The LED screen is bright and clear, and the actual unit itself feels solid and well built and balanced. I appreciated how detailed the User Guide is (spoiler alert: read the actual User Guide.) I like that it has incremental beep volumes, and a safety feature that will auto-disable the electric shock function after a set period of time. I'm also glad that they included a test kit to make sure the shock feature is putting out current. I hope I'll never need to use the shock setting, but I'm glad that I have it as an option if needed.

Bought two of these collars for our dogs who were barking at people in the park behind our house. I read the positive reviews, but was still hesitant as to whether or not they would work. Well...I can tell you these were very easy to set-up and are working great. I have not yet had to charge the batteries and have had them on the dogs for three weeks. I take them off at night because the dogs are in the house. The vibrate combined with the beep setting works fine. I have not had to use the shock setting. Although if I needed to I would, as the intensity of the shock increases if the dog keeps barking. After a few days the dogs have completely stopped barking at people in the park, which was the goal. I will say that one of my dogs set off the collar by sneezing, but that was easily remedied by changing the intensity setting.
