Deliciously Nostalgic with a Few Sticky Drawbacks I’ve been a fan of Laffy Taffy since I was a kid, and the Strawberry Flavor Rope Candy still brings back that nostalgic joy. The strawberry taste is spot-on—sweet, fruity, and just the right amount of tartness to keep things interesting. The texture is perfectly chewy, making each bite last a while, which I really enjoy. Plus, the classic jokes on the wrapper are always a fun little bonus, even if they’re a bit corny at times. One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that the candy can get pretty sticky, especially if you’re trying to unwrap it on a warm day. It sometimes leaves a bit of residue on your fingers, which isn’t ideal if you’re on the go. I also wish the ropes were a bit longer or thicker for the price, as they can disappear pretty quickly once you start eating. Overall, it’s a tasty treat that satisfies my sweet tooth and brings back great memories.
