I recently installed this biometric gun safe next to my bed, and it has been a great addition for both security and peace of mind. What stood out to me right away was how flexible the mounting options are. I chose the top-mount position under a nightstand, but you can also install it on the side of a desk, wall, or even in a vehicle. It stays well-hidden and doesn’t take up much space. The fingerprint scanner is fast and reliable. It unlocks almost instantly with just a touch, and I like that it can store up to 50 fingerprints, which is perfect for programming multiple fingers or sharing access with a spouse. The passcode and key backup options are nice to have, and I tested all three methods without any issues. Everything worked as expected. The design is very user-friendly. The noise reduction feature is something I didn’t know I needed until I used it. The safe opens quietly, which is important at night when I do not want to alert others or disturb anyone. The built-in interior light is also really helpful. It gives just enough illumination to see inside without being too bright or distracting. Build quality is solid. The steel feels strong and secure, and the black finish looks clean and discreet in my bedroom setup. It does not stand out or clash with the furniture. The overall size is compact but fits a standard handgun easily, along with a spare magazine. One of the smartest features is the USB-C emergency power port. I haven’t needed to use it yet, but it’s reassuring to know I have a quick solution in case the internal battery runs out or I misplace the backup key. As a parent, I appreciate the extra level of security this provides. Knowing that my firearm is stored safely and can only be accessed by me or someone I’ve authorized brings a lot of peace of mind. It’s a responsible way to keep a gun accessible but secure, especially with kids in the house. If you’re looking for a compact, reliable, and fast-access safe for your handgun, this one checks all the boxes. It’s easy to install, works flawlessly, and adds a serious layer of security to any setup.

The small size makes it easy to be installed in an inconspicuous place. This safe box is OK, and I like the concept, but elements of the design are frustrating and I got very frustrated with it when I first got it. Firstly, installing the batteries is almost impossible because of the position of the battery holder inside the safe . . . I had to get my very young daughter to put them in for me because she has tiny hands, and even then it was a struggle that took a while. I'm also not crazy about the way the lock closes . . you have to almost slam the box closed to get it to latch properly, which always leaves me wondering if it is in fact completely closed. Not what you want on a device like this. Now that I have it all figured out, it works fine, for me. But I'd probably look for a different one if I was to do this again. My Glock 17 fits well inside it.

I have 3 of these under-desk safes and they all pretty much work the same. This one in particular was easy enough to install. Programming the biometrics was easy too. Only thing about this and most of this kind of safe is that they do wobble significantly when you tap them. Not that it makes too much of a difference in function, but for one of them, I have it installed on a sit/stand desk and this thing shakes like crazy. Not a design flaw, but keep that in mind that the metal it's hanging off of may or may not provide you with the strongest point of secure connection.

The media could not be loaded. This safe has a slim and slick design which allows for easy mounting and can stay hidden well. Opens via key, code, or programmed fingerprints, all work very well. The safe is very responsive and opens very quickly when unlocked.

I want to see how this holds up over time, but after unboxing and installing, I really like what I've seen so far. This is very much an everything you need, nothing you don't kind of product and I really like that. I went ahead and installed this in a coat closet by the front door for discreet and convenient access. Install was simple. Not even 5 minutes. It fits my P-10C with light and optic very securely and I imagine will fit subs and full size models just as well. I also greatly appreciate the addition if the interior light. Programming was an absolute breeze. New lock code was added in less than a minute and same for fingerprints (which work consistently) as long as you get a solid placement of your finger each time. I also appreciate that there is a physical key as well as the charging cable back up in case you lose the keys and your batteries die. While I received this as part of the Amazon Vine program, now knowing what it is, I would absolutely purchase this with my own money. While I think this is a very solid product, I do have to knock off a star for a couple reasons. This should come with wall anchors and batteries. It is silly that they don't include those. Additionally, I think they could re-engineer the latch a bit. While it drops free every time, sometimes it doesn't latch closed on the first try. Not a deal breaker, but would really improve the sense of quality. Also just to mention, say your house was robbed, thieves may not be able to get this open quickly, but they'll be able to rip it right off the mount so don't count this as anything more than keeping honest people from accessing your firearm.
