I am 5’5” and weigh 125 pounds. I ordered small. It fits me well. I give a 5 star to this purchase. This jacket is made so fine and of high quality. It is thicker than a normal jacket. It is so warm meanwhile the traditional Chinese Han style makes it so classic and stylish. The outer is fine linen and inside is cotton. Absolutely love this adorable jacket. It ships from China. The care instruction on the label is in mandarin. Since I speak mandarin I am going to translate the label here: Do not machine wash, only hand wash under 86 Fahrenheit degree, do not soak it in the water for too long, avoid to use laundry soap that contains too much alkalinity( opposite of acidity); it is normal for it to lose some colour when to wash for the first time; do not twist it; wash it separately with other clothes. Iron it under 212 Fahrenheit. Best to hang it and air dry. ... show more

This coat is lined and quilted so it will be warm. I'm 5'4" and it fits fine. The sewing and workmanship is good. Overall, this is a good investment if you like Asian-styled clothing.

All these reviews claiming to be from the US have metric system sizing. No one here uses kg for weight or cm for sizes. This jacket looks lovely, but legitimate reviews would be helpful.

I had doubts whether every aspect of this jacket would be favorable, the price was high for my budget, it was being shipped from outside the country, and there was a real possibility I would be to return if it wasn’t perfect. The jacket arrived a couple days ago and IT IS PERFECT! Definitely worth the wait - I was shopping for a traditional quilted Chinese jacket and this jacket exceeds my expectations as it has updated styling that surpasses the previous jacket I bought in San Francisco’s Chinatown. The Mandarin collar is higher, the short jacket has a boxy style (which I prefer) and, most importantly - the sleeve length is perfect. I am 5’2”, 115 pounds and will buy petite sizes when available - the “one size” offered for this jacket concerned me, but the overall jacket size is perfect, which makes this my new FAVORITE jacket - I wholeheartedly recommend it without hesitation. ... show more
