The fountain is small and lightweight, nicely molded to mimic natural rocks with small brown rocks here and there that make it look more realistic, and the solar panel is really big to generate enough energy to keep the water flowing smoothly and just powerful enough to keep the crystal ball gently spinning. A stake fits at an angle onto the back of the solar panel. I pushed the stake into the soil in the flowerpot on our outdoor table and adjusted the angle of the panel so as much daylight lands on it as possible, hiding the very long thin cord between it and the fountain down around the pot and in back of the fountain. I feel the size of the solar panel, the inclusion of a more powerful backup battery, the intricacy of the design, and the one-year warranty justify the cost. It’s a delightful accent for our back deck, and I’m pleased with the quality.

I was impressed by how well the solar panel has been working because I’ve felt with a fair share that just aren’t “strong” enough to maintain a fountain (vs causing spurts of water). But it is well constructed and super tranquil when everything is up and running! However, this is smaller than what I would imagine for the price…I actually opted to use it more indoors (in a sunny south facing window) than outdoors because I didn’t want it to get easily blown over or lost.

Very sturdy with easy and easy instructions for set up. Clear ball is beautiful and sturdy and sits perfectly on top. Solar panel is a bit sensitive and does not charge very well and at times cause fountain to not work with the flow of water or other times it will run intermittently. Solar panel is placed to receive 8 hours of sun and fountain only runs for about 2hours when it does work. It is very beautiful and relaxing when it runs.

I am setting up a rock garden in front of the house and this is a nice decor addition. I like that it is solar so I dont have to have the plug running running from the side of the house. Just have to find the best spot for the solar panel and it will be all set.

Item is very small with a plastic base so you have to place it well to best feature it so it's not hidden. I set mine in a large pot that has a small palm so the palm is well above the the water fountain and on the back side I placed the solar panel. You have two options where you can add a stake to the solar panel mount to post it in your garden or the mount can be screwed to a wall. Comes with ample length cord so you could mount it high up on a wall to power the fountain. Fast shipping

The media could not be loaded. I love how this looks in motion. It also makes a gentle flowing water sound. Having had the pleasure of using this stunning solar-powered waterfall fountain in my dining room, I can attest to its beauty and tranquil effect. Watching the water trickle down each step brings an air of serenity to any area. The inclusion of a "lucky crystal ball", which rotates above the cascading water, is a delightful touch. The tube for the pump has some cut off pieces of tubing in it which slows down the water to a good speed. I tried removing them and the water was pumping out a bit too forcefully and splashing. If you have a splashing issue, I'd recommend adding another piece of tubing. I have the solar panel inside my window and it gets enough light to work until late afternoon.
