The media could not be loaded. I know this is a outdoor fountain but it works great as an indoor one too. It doesn't splatter like the other tall fountain we had gotta from another company. Which was leaving water everywhere and had to return. I put this one on low and it is perfect. The sound of the water isn't too loud but also not too light because I didn't want it to sound like an open faucet trickling. Lights are bright I got mines close to the wall and at night you can see the water movement reflecting on the wall my whole living room feels like an oasis. The whole setup was easy the motor is completely silent can't even hear it pumping which is great. I put it on for a few days to rinse off anything left from the factory you can see the water forming that's natural ill Will be changing the water today and add a fountain cleaner liquid to the water. We replaced our old preformed plastic pond liner with this water fountain in the backyard. Hooked up with a timer to turn on the LEDs by dusk. Surrounded it with some plants and stones. With the soothing sounds of the flowing water, what an awesome natural scene for the garden! The media could not be loaded. LOVE this fountain! It has a fabulous natural sounding stream, so it's not only beautiful, it sounds so lovely and tranquil. (I was shopping for not only the look but more importantly the sound of the water in a fountain.) I didn't want something that sounded like I left the hose on or that we sprung a leak someplace. The media could not be loaded. UPDATE. Today i received a new pump sent by the company. It has amost been 3 weeks & the company was very prompt in returning all my emails. They helped me trouble shoot possible problems with the other pump & when it didnt help, another pump was in the mail to me. They have exceeded my expetations in customer service. The old pump dial could be turned 3/4 around, & the new pump can only be turned 1/2 around, low & high. The river fountain came very well packaged. It was inside Styrofoam was so thick I don't think it would hurt it if it was dropped from a truck. It is lightweight that I could move it around. I am using the water stream fountain inside my home for relaxation & the lights are soft white & so it is very relaxing. I've checked it every day to see if there was any water on my carpet, & it’s been totally dry. The instructions are easy to understand & it also has a trouble shooting guide which is always nice to have. On setting the water stream, there is a dial on the pump inside & the directions stated to turn the water pump on high & then adjust to a slower water speed that you like. After I started the fountain, I turned the dial on the pump to lower the water stream, but the water stream did not change. I emailed them on Friday late afternoon concerning the water speed & I had a reply on Monday morning, so they answered promptly. Overall it is a very nice water stream fountain. I did make a couple of suggestions they might think of adding to their information pamphlet: It stated to fill it at least 5cm above the pump, so every time you might think it is low, you would have to open the back panel up & measure the water level above the pump & this opening is approx. 4.5"x6.5". I made a suggestion to somehow "mark" how high the water should be on the outside so u dont have to remove the back when water is needed. They thought it was a good idea & will pass this on to the appropriate individuals. ... show more
