Frequently asked questions

The vibrating foam roller combines vibration therapy with traditional foam rolling techniques to enhance blood flow, reduce muscle tightness, and alleviate pain. The vibrations penetrate deep into the muscles to provide a more effective relief for muscle soreness and stiffness, especially in areas like the back and legs. It's particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing muscle pain, facilitating quicker recovery by loosening tight spots and trigger points.

Yes, using the vibrating foam roller before workouts is highly recommended as part of a dynamic warm-up routine. The vibration technology helps to increase circulation, flexibility, and range of motion, effectively preparing your muscles and joints for physical activity. This not only enhances your performance but also minimizes the risk of injuries during exercises.

Absolutely, the vibrating foam roller is an excellent tool for post-workout recovery. It aids in the cooldown process by facilitating muscle relaxation and decreasing post-exercise soreness. Regular use after workouts can help in the reduction of lactic acid buildup, speed up recovery times, and improve overall physical therapy routines for stretches and recovery at home or in the gym.

The vibrating foam roller typically comes with multiple vibration settings to cater to different needs and comfort levels. Beginners are advised to start with the lowest setting to gradually acclimate to the sensation. Over time, as your body becomes more accustomed to the vibration, you can experiment with higher intensities to find the most effective relief for your muscle pain or stiffness. Listening to your body and adjusting the intensity according to your personal comfort and recovery goals is key.

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The NextRoller 3-Speed Vibrating Foam Roller is a well-received tool that benefits both athletes and desk workers alike, known for its dense construction and effective vibration settings. It offers a variety of intensity levels to cater to different needs, making recovery and flexibility improvements noticeable. Despite its higher price point compared to traditional foam rollers, users justify its value through the added vibrational massage feature and comparison with higher-priced competitors. However, some design aspects like the handle and motor performance under pressure have room for improvement.

Pros

  • 👍 Dense and high-quality construction
  • 👍 Three vibration intensity levels for personalized use
  • 👍 Noticeable improvements in flexibility and recovery times
  • 👍 Long battery life
  • 👍 Cost-effective compared to similar high-end products

Cons

  • 👎 Handle design feels like an afterthought and lacks durability
  • 👎 Motor may slow down when significant weight is applied
  • 👎 Some parts, like the dial and power cord, could be of higher quality

Should I Buy It?

If you are in search of an advanced tool for self-myofascial release that goes beyond what a traditional foam roller offers, the NextRoller 3-Speed Vibrating Foam Roller is worth considering. Its pros decisively outweigh its flaws for most users, especially those prioritizing recovery and muscle relief. Just keep in mind the minor issues with the handle and ensure its vibration capabilities are aligned with your needs.

  • You will never have to see a massage therapist again.
The NextRoller 3-Speed Vibrating Foam Roller is a device that both athletes and desk workers would benefit from. A few things I'd like to note: On one end of the foam roller there is a carrying handle and on the other, you can choose the level of vibration you'd like to use. You can use it with or without vibrations. It is denser than your typical foam roller. There are 3 levels of vibration intensity — 1 being the lowest, 3 being the highest. You get a 1 year warranty with this product. A full charge takes 4-6 hours, which "will give you over two hours of vibrating massage." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How long have you had it? I've had it for about a week and have noticed improvements in my flexibility. I also recover faster from workouts than I did previously. How do you use it? I go to a trigger point (a tense area on my body) with the vibration off to make pinpointing trigger points easier, turn on level 1 of vibration, and I breathe deeply and fall into a meditative state. When I foam roll this way I feel the tightness releasing as I relax over an area, as opposed to "fighting" with the foam roller and rolling up and down like a maniac. I do this all over and as soon as I'm done, I notice that my body is no longer as tense and that the pain I had was amended. If I go over an area that isn't tight but typically is, I will bump up the vibration setting to level 2 or 3 to give a wonderful massage and break up the fascia deep within the walls of the muscle tissue. That is the only reason why I would ever increase the vibration level from one. $100 is too much for a foam roller! Well, consider what you're getting. This is a foam roller that vibrates, so you can go to those areas where you're experiencing pain, and get seemingly instant relief. In other words, it pays for itself. You know where you need a massage and can use this to help you with that. In comparison with a Hyperice Vyper, which is a vibrating foam roller at double the cost, you're getting a great product for half the price. Also, the NextRoller has grooves that give you a deep massage, while the Hyperice has a smooth surface. In conclusion, the NextRoller is a wonderful upgrade to the traditional foam roller and should be considered if you are looking into a more advanced version of self-myofascial release. ... show more

  • I love it! It's great
I just received this yesterday, charged it overnight and have begun using it today. I love it! It's great! The vibration is strong, the nubs on the foam are strong and useful. Just as another reviewer mentioned, the handle, however feels like an afterthought. It is chinsy and thin and plastic. It seems like they did a great job on the quality of the roller and got their product and when "Oops, we need a handle! What can we do?" the manufacturer said, "uh, well, we can stick this on but it's not going to be like the rest of the product". Out of desperation they said we have to go with it. That's what I imagine the situation went like. It's difficult to turn the handle back on to cover the charging port. It is tragic. So, that being said, I really have been enjoying my roller but alas, the handle just sucks. I would almost be tempted to toss it. There have been no crunching noises like some others have said but the motor slows down considerably when weight is applied to it. The 3 speeds are appropriate and all 3 feel quite different for different areas. I tried another vibrating foam roller from another manufacturer at my local running store but I like this one much better. Hope you enjoy yours! ... show more

  • Great Electric Foam Roller
This works just like a traditional foam roller but the vibrating just adds a touch more of the deep tissue massage that really helps with muscle soreness. It’s easy to use, holds a charge well and is easy to carry around as it has a handle.

  • excellent roller with good vibration
This product work's really well. I have been using it for just a few days and it's really hard to pull me off it. Good parts about it: - The main roller is very sturdy made with high quality materials. - Vibration is powerful enough. I find myself using medium most of the time. The low is low enough to hug it against your face when you get headaches. - The nubs that stick out feel great and dig in the right spots. - The battery lasts a decent amount of time before being recharged. - Customer service was excellent. The box was missing the power cord so I sent a message and got a reply back really fast from the co-founder and was shipped one immediately. - It has a nice carrying handle. -great price in comparison What could be improved: - The plastic on the dial and the power cord could be slightly higher quality. - The carry handle opens up to reveal the slot to charge the battery. It's a good design, but I wish it had enough space to fit the power cord. otherwise, it could get easily lost with other generic looking chargers. - there is a part between the nubs where it becomes more flat. Those areas there is a larger gap so it may be harder to roll when it hits that area. Not a big issue, but may take more effort in certain surfaces - the power cord could possibly be usb-a or usb-c cables so it is easily replaced if your power cord gets lost. ... show more
