Our family enjoys using LED strip lighting from decorating our teenagers room, to Television back lighting, and enhance our family party recreation room. We have enough technical expertise to purchase led strips, connectors, and can install on our own. When our extended family who is not as technical wanted to setup LED strip lighting, we wanted to purchase and send a set that would not require me to help via facetime or multiple cell calls. I searched several LED strip light kits and narrowed it down to this NEXillumi kit and another set. The NEXillumi was my choice and I can state I made the winning choice! Their tag line on the box is "One-Stop Shop for LED Strip Lights" and the contents of the box backs up that statement. When my family received the box it stated on the outside Scan Me QR code with a customer support email address. When you open the lid another flap thanks you for the purchase and has messenger links, facebook page, and a facebook group that is dedicated to the support of this led strip kit. The kit is separated into 2 reels of 20ft led strips and bags of 4 tab connectors that will be used for corners, bends, and junctions to connect strip to strip horizontally. The AC adapter and power cord has more than sufficient length to connect to the led strip. Power cable management black wraps are included to bundle the wire together without the use of zip ties. These cable straps can be opened and closed. A few screw in flat strip holders are included that hold the strip without using the adhesive sticker located on the back. The adhesive sticker backing is grey and thin but powerful enough to hold to most services. If the application requires additional adhesion strength this kit includes 2 rolls of thick double sides white foam adhesive. Most strips provide this already to the LED roll but then is so difficult to remove if not needed. I appreciate that you have the option to use the thin or add the thick white adhesive later. The app was so simple that even my family was able to install and configure without contacting me. So both myself and my brother in law enjoyed this set from an installation and application perspective. You will not be disappointed with this all in one led lighting kit! ... show more

You can change the colors and the motion and have them blink or slow motion or fast. There's other options that I haven't figured out yet. But it was very easy to install and it looks pretty cool

My daughter had been bugging me for quite a while for some lights for her room. Chose this set based on good reviews and the ability to use an app to control in addition to the remote. I also liked the fact that it was appropriately sized for the room and there were only two strands of lights instead of three for the length needed as with some other brands. That way I could run the two strands around the room from one central connection point. The LED's are plenty bright and easy to install and use. I washed the wall first and then pealed the tape backing and just pressed them along the wall. Stuck easily with no fuss. Been up for two weeks now with no signs of movement or coming loose. There are different modes of operation and customization. Control is easier with the app installed on your phone although I could not get the flash with music part to find the music on my phone. I didn't try to hard though because i'm not all that worried about it neither is my daughter. One minor issue is that on the included remote one of the buttons changes the settings on the tower fan that is also in the room and the remote for the fan will change the color of the lights so the two remote controls share some of the same language. Not a big deal. just a side note. Best of all was the prompt customer service. I had a minor problem and reached out by email one evening and was promptly replied to even though it was kind of late in the evening and i was taken care of rather quickly as well. Listing description clearly states that it comes with 3m tape to secure the strip.. we’ll it doesn’t which seems like false advertisement to me.

    • App feature sure is something
My sister and I both have these LED strips in each of our rooms. We had to mutually agree to only use the local remotes because when we try to control the light settings with the app, it affects both of our rooms even though we bought two separate packs. Other than that, it sticks well and I only ever use these lights in my room now. It kind of bothers me that it's not a continuous 50ft strip and they have to connect together, but it doesn't take away from the overall quality of the lights. I also like that I was able to cut the strips to custom-fit my room and reattach them with the provided connectors. I don't really use the mic or music sync feature because the flight flashing hurts my head and it feels too choppy or isn't cohesive enough with the music. I just use them like regular LED lights. There are more color options from the app but the colors on the remote work just fine if you're not too nitpicky about that. ... show more
