They work just like you think they would. Stick the adhesion spots where you want to attach the cable breaks & set the minimum feed distance. Pretty sturdy resistance & a great way to get cables off the floor. I'm sure many have mentioned it already, but seriously, be careful with these sticky pads they do NOT mess around! With that aside, these pulleys work just fine for me and my gaming setup. The 6 set is the way to go, bc it gives you enough to try different positions or setup in multiple rooms. If you can't do wireless VR, this is a key item to help make wired VR as functional as possible. I won't lie and claim these things are perfect though... if you wear over ear headphones, often the pulley cable will scrape against your headphones and the sound/vibrations travel through your headphones, pretty annoying. Also, you must stay aware that you aren't twisting up the cable too much! It's easy to forget when gaming, but when using a pulley system like this, check every so often that your cable isn't twisted up. That isn't a knock on these pulleys at all though, they do their job just fine, but that only goes so far. ... show more

I got this for $20 and this is an absolutely insane bang for the buck I can’t believe how high quality they are. It comes with many mounting options and is perfect for a VR setup. Highly recommend to anyone looking to cable manage your VR cables

    • Freeze! Don't move!
Bought these for my 7 year old's Quest setup and they are great as long as you don't need to move around much. Not much of a problem for most adults. . . but kids? Forget about it. Some cable holders with swivel joints would fix this and wouldn't add much cost. PROS 1. The hooks that stick to surfaces really do stick. They have a very strong adhesive on them. 2. Long self retracting cables. 3. Adjustable rubber cable holders. 4. There are 6 to a box. CONS 1. The main problem with almost any pully system like this is that the line starts to wrap itself around the cable a single rotation. Add in the fact that most children will move around as if inside the game/simulation and pretty soon you have one heck of a twisty mess. I would also like to point out that at least one of the pullies has started to squeak with less than a total of 24hrs play time on it. I didn't put this in the cons section because it was only the one pully and it really cannot be helped with metal parts in it. So, if you can live with the few cons it has then I highly recommend this pully system for VR gaming. ... show more
