I wasn’t able to use it as much as I would have liked to but in the beginning I used it a few times to test it out and it worked great. Then one day I was about to use it and then there was this rattling and vibration happening. Not sure if it can be fixed but I’m willing to try it out. Maybe it had something to do with how it was stored away or if it got bumped real bad. I’m a truck driver so it could have dropped a few times while in the case. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 is because of the rattling and vibration. The reason it isn’t lower than a 4 is because when it was working, it was great. Again not sure what happened but willing to try and get it fixed somewhere. Will update when I try and report back on if it was a success or a failure ... show more

I’ve had the Hohem stabilizer for my iPhone, and loved how it handled. I kinda wish I had returned THIS one while I had the chance. It works as it should, but if you plan on using the media mod (so you can use a mic, etc.) then it just won’t work (unless I’m doing something wrong!). This is basically wasted money at this point as I prefer to have my MediaMod attached so I can have better audio quality. The gimbal may get used one day, but it’s not the reliable tool I was hoping for. ... show more

Bad product description - specifically says "for Gopro 11/10/9 8/7/6/5, for Osmo Action" (DJI Action cameras) - contradicted in the manual - Only interfaces/controls certain GoPro models - FIX THE DECEPTIVE DESCRIPTION!

    • Need to Learn How to Use
I was looking for a smooth gimbal when I walk around with my GoPro 8 so I got this item. I have yet to figure out how to use this as my footage is jerky. When walking with the rig, it seems to have its own focal tracking. I just wanted something to keep the camera flowing along, but when panning or walking sideways, it keeps wanting to track whatever I am passing and it jerks to the left as I walk to the right. At this point, it's sitting on a shelf as I get smoother footage using a selfie stick and careful planning of when I need to move the camera up or down. ... show more

It’s pretty good but has some less than intuitive aspects. With some practice it gets easier. But, the reasons I am not giving it more stars is because you cannot use a GoPro media mod with it which reduces its usefulness significantly for what we need it for (including videoing wildlife in care of a rescue and dynamic outdoor human interviews - both where sound is key). ... show more

    • Great Gimbal For The Price
This is the 2nd Gimbal I have purchased. The 1st one (from a different company) I could never get adjusted for it to sit level with my Go Pro Hero 7. It specifically said it would work for the Hero 7 and others but would never level properly. Only help I could get was "send us videos to prove our product is faulty". I don't have time to sit at computer and send them videos. So I ordered this one. Guess what, you mount the Go Pro, hit one button and follow the simple directions to have it self adjust level on table. Perfect! Very happy with this Gimbal. Highly recommend. With Blue Tooth to the Hero 7 as well as other cameras. ... show more
