I ordered this GPS tracker hoping for a reliable, no‑subscription way to keep tabs on our adventurous tuxedo cat. The tracker itself is compact, lightweight, and works seamlessly with the app once it’s in place. The bright orange color is easy to spot, and the waterproof design gives me peace of mind when our cat decides to explore the yard after a rain. But let me tell you about the installation. My husband and I spent a solid two hours trying, unsuccessfully, to get the tracker into the elastic safety collar. We twisted, pushed, coaxed, and muttered. Nothing. Our daughter stopped by later, picked it up, and slipped it in like it was warm butter. Ah, youth. Apparently, the trick is simply being younger and having better hand strength. Once installed, though, the tracker works beautifully. The connection to the app is quick and accurate, and I love that there’s no monthly fee. The elastic safety buckle is a thoughtful touch for cats who like to squeeze into questionable spaces. Pros: - No subscription required - Works smoothly with the app - Lightweight and waterproof - Bright, easy‑to‑spot color - Safety buckle adds peace of mind Things to Know: - Inserting the tracker into the collar may require patience, or a helpful young adult - For use only with iOS. -The collar comes with a bell. Our cat demanded that it be removed but he was happy to strut around and show off the rest of the collar with the tracker intact.
