  • Great device!
This is a great way to keep everything charged. It comes with new controller battery covers and batteries. You can select if the LED bar illuminates or not by a switch on the back. Best to use the charging cord and block that came with the headset. It is a little tricky to dock the headset and the controllers, but I got the knack of it. If you were bump the platform or table it’s on then the controllers or headset might bump off of charge. It would be nice if the magnets were stronger so that there was a more positive engagement of the components. I like it! Even ordered one for a friend! ... show more

  • Just get name brand batteries
I loved the idea of being able to just set my headset and controllers down to charge after gaming on VRchat or Into The Radius, so I bought this thinking it'd be neat. Here's my pros and cons I've found. Pros: +Comes with batteries and controller grip covers to allow charging in the dock +can plug in the headset and controllers to charge with a single charger, reducing the number of cables or outlets required to charge, by just plugging in the dock +controller batteries don't take long to charge from 0% Cons: -due to the headset having a vastly greater amount of battery capacity than the controller batteries this comes with, it takes significantly longer to charge the headset than if you were to just plug it in to the wall using the charger it came with or a decent alternative cable. [I placed the headset to charge overnight and it only charged from 50% up to 53%??] -I have controller grips with straps behind the hands already, meaning whenever I want to play or charge, I have to constantly be swapping the grips out for both controllers -the batteries this comes with have very little capacity when compared to name brand rechargeable batteries like Duracell or Energizer -(minor con) sometimes it can be difficult to place the headset onto the dock as it doesn't really lock in place? But you'll know you've got it when your headset plays the sound and shows the orange light. I won't return this since I've already tossed out the box for it, but I might gift it to family or a friend who would be interested in it. I do NOT recommend this if you play in VR for long periods of time and want a reliable charging method that won't take a day and a half to charge your headset from below 50%. ... show more

  • Controllers started not charging after 2 months
Initially, I liked this dock, it kept my HMD and controllers organized and charged. I have the BoboVR halo strap attached and it was a little tricky getting the HMD seated properly to charge, but it worked. The issue is the controllers, at first the right controller wouldn't charge fully and then quit charging at all, then the left controller wouldn't charge over 60%. I took out the batteries, made sure they were aligned with the charging posts, cleaned all contacts and they still won't charge. I give it 2 stars as I like the design and it was great for the first couple of months, but now it's useless. I assume it's a problem in the design or quality of the dock and not the batteries as I read about other people having problems with the right controller charging specifically. I do not recommend it. ... show more

  • The dock is very sleek and takes up minimal space. Battery life for controllers seems mixed.
If the batteries held a longer charge this product would be very close to being rated 5 stars. It is very small and takes up minimal space wherever placed. The LED indicator is nice but I haven't figured out a way to turn it off yet. The dock seems to charge the controllers and headset quickly making it a great buy. My only gripe is my right controller seems to drop to 40% fairly quickly when I'm playing; once at 40 it seems to stay here for a while before dropping lower. Other than the mixed battery consumption, this is a great product to keep my Quest 3 charged and well organized when not playing. Even with a third party battery pack head strap I'm able to charge it as long as the head strap weight is distributed correctly for the headset to sit on the charging prongs properly. (Make sure to use a proper wall plug cube as some won't have enough amperage to charge the dock/headset and controllers properly as the package doesn't come with one) ... show more

  • Solid design. No so solid charging
The device setup is solid. The headset sits on the pad and is easy to get it to charge without too much fuss. The way the controllers sits on the pad require less juggling position around and most of the time setting them on the charge is pretty instant. I have two issues with the charging unit. 1. The controllers charge differently and alot of times they indicate fully charged but then when I go to use them one will be at 70 and the other 80%. 2. This could be just quality control slippage but my right hand controllers battery doesn't stay connected with pressure. It's a pain to get the battery to line up to detect power. Then when putting the cover on it loses connection. Sometimes I can get it to stay connected when putting the cover on but then any squeezing pressure and the controller dies. Can use any other regular battery or recharging battery and cover from other charging units I have so it's not the controller. Will contact the company for the second issue if they fix. I'll add a star back. ... show more

  • A must have if you have a Quest 3
This is an awesome charger for the Meta Quest and the controllers. Keeps everything nice and organized, charges headset and controllers all at the same time super easy to use, and saves space.
