What is it with companies that don’t feel the need to include comprehensive instructions??? These tell you how to set up the product (more or less), but that’s it. How do you load the cartridge into the pen? Surprise… you have to unscrew the tip! Be prepared to play around and figure this thing out if you want to use it. Once you figure it out, it’s kind of cool. As you write in the notebook, everything automatically shows up in the app on your phone. Some notebooks are erasable, but I don’t know where it tells you that, so just lick your finger and smear to find out. Mine worked! The pen works best when held straight up. If you tilt it a little, it still works but not as well. Also be careful how you place your fingers. If you cover the camera, it won’t show up. (Duh, but I’m an awkward pen holder, so I have to be extra careful). Mine also comes with a writing tablet, which looks exactly like the toy version my kids have. It works basically the same, but you have to switch out the pen cartridge for a plastic top. It is easy to use once you figure it out. I was a little disappointed in the size. It’s too big to carry around, so its best use it to make notes at home and then view them in the app when you’re out. If you’re a gadgets person, it’s a fun novelty, but to be honest, it’s not that different than just making notes in your phone app except it’s your handwriting.

This is a great concept and it seems to work as advertised. I haven't used it enough to understand how all the features work but I have handed it off to my stepdaughter to use as she is really into tech and uses drawing tablets and such for her artwork and I feel she would be a far better person to test it long term. For what I used it for it worked flawlessly but I'm certain she will find the flaws and advantages of this device and excitedly share her experience. I will update this after my tester (stepdaughter) updates me on her experience

The email part was not going through. Now the new problem is that the pen can not be charged. Kept showing red indicator with 1% and now run out completely, making the whole system useless. Are there possibilities for replacement of the pen?

The directions that come with this are very limited. You have to get an app to use the transcription, but you can record with limited functionality using the pen alone to upload later. The reusable paper is very cool, but the tablet is lackluster.

This pen, tablet and notebook are supposed to make it so that you can write long hand and then it seamlessly upload syncs it digitally to your phone and then to whatever device you need it to be. I charged the pen. I downloaded the Chinese app. And then I just can’t get it to work. You have to register the app and then they’re supposed to send you a code to verify it. I can’t get this code so I can’t use the app. There doesn’t seem to be any other way to make this work. I think it’s just through the app. But who would know? There are less than five pages of English instructions, and they’re very vague and don’t tell you how to get started. This could’ve been a useful tool. The tablet is very lightweight. The pen looks like a pen. The notebook is nice quality and includes a leather or fake leather binder that has spots for credit cards and ID in it. But this is all just a paperweight because I can’t get it to work. I am technically savvy and my husband works in IT. We cannot get this thing to work. We’re very disappointed.

This is fantastic product in a long line of similar types of gadgets. I think we’re this one delivers is the accuracy and ease of use. Especially like the fact that it’s not too small and it’s not too big. It’s small enough to fit in the palm of your hand and large enough, you can actually take readable notes that are converted nicely into a nice digital format if you so choose. It has different options as to just handwriting in a notebook like the old-fashioned way Or adding your notes by hand and then converting to digital display. The app integrates very well and easily with the notebook too. If you want to take some good simple notes, not have a very bulky thing to carry around and be able to share and record your notes, legibly and easily and this is the product for you.

I was so excited at the published functionality of this product but so disappointed with so many things: 1. After fiddling for 5 minutes on the tablet itself thinking that needed to be powered, it was the battery. Thought I was going to break it. 2. Zero instructions, good luck spending 30+ minutes of your life on a device. 3. The 'tablet' frame elevates over the screen -- no way would that be comfy, I'll take a notebook any day. To comfortably write on it you'd likely have carpel tunnel. 4. Quality of tablet surround is cheap plastic 5. Did I mention no instructions? Struggling on this but a one star is that the tablet writing accessory is very light. Now, if they could just address all the other no-go issues, this could be a very competitive product at the price. Ultimately, I spent half an hour just trying to decipher the product instead of using it out of the box and frankly, just gave up.
