They all talk about matching the terminals on the transformer to the come, but the transformer terminals aren't marked. I'm the case of the Google Nest wired doorbell, they aren't marked either, and specifically say it doesn't matter. Well, neither do the transformer terminals. Doorbell button to transformer with one wire. Same color wire goes to the front terminal on the chime. The other wire goes to the transformer, and the transformer terminal on the chime. Maybe I read the Ad wrong, but I did not receive what I thought I was ordering. Because I have a Ring doorbell, I wanted a doorbell with12 Volt 30VA transformer. But when it arrived it was a 16Volt. I hope it does not burn out my Ring. I almost sent it back but after installation, it seems to work OK. At first, it did not, but it was because of corrosion on the wires. I rechecked everything and found it. So I decieded to keep it. Sure hope I didn't make a mistake. ... show more

Cheap and functional. Replaced my 1959 unit so I could use a smart doorbell. It isn't as loud as the old unit, but loud enough for our small house. It does come with support for wiring a front (ding dong) and a rear (ding) doorbell which I hadn't seen mentioned in the product info.
