Received this as a father's day gift from my wife. Quality looks awesome many hives I have been looking at are not dove tail, this one is. The fit and finish look awesome. I like the little window on the side too. I can't wait to get some bees in there.

I’ve got to say I like this. Five stars is based on taking it out of the box and assembling. The instructions are simple and clear regarding assembling the ten frames [I bought the ten frame kit]. The box and other pieces are ready to go outbid the box. A note about frame assembly is that the nails can easily split the wood. It took one split for me to select 1/16” drill bit [smallest in my kit] to drill pilot holes for the nails. Assembly is smooth doing one side of pilot and nail before moving on to the other side. Assembly was relatively quick once I had my assembly line setup. I look forward to buying a new colony for my hive and building more hives!

Does not come with the frames assembled but the directions are super easy to follow and it does not take much time to assemble. Good brooder box.

Was super easy to put together. I am still learning bees, so I cant really say much about the rest of the setup. Super happy with my purchase though.

This was the best beginner kit I found for me. It was easy to assemble the frames and came with good quality materials. The little viewing window was a plus in my opinion. I would recommend this kit to other beginners out there.
