Works perfectly and is so easy to get started. I bought this to supplement the small amount of ice my freezer makes, which cannot keep up with my needs (single-person home, and I drink cold drinks all day). The large bullets are a perfect size; I have not tried the small bullets yet. After the basket is full, I empty it into the freezer's ice container. The bullets will be wet, but I don't mind since they are going straight into the freezer. It does not take away from the quality. This is not a freezer unit, but an ice maker. Now I do not have to buy ice from the store. Do not hesitate to purchase this countertop ice maker!

Makes ice quickly. Love the ice maker. Everyone was super excited for it. Makes plenty of ice within a few minutes. Doesn't keep temperature in the ice basket but the ice melts right back into the water reservoir. Also not too big as our space is tiny.

This ice machine works pretty well. It makes ice very quickly and has two size options. It is easy to use and efficient. My only complaint is that I seem to have to reset it every couple of days because it stops making ice even though the basket is empty and the water level is sufficient. Otherwise, a really great product.

PROS Works as advertised, makes 9 thimble sized pellets of ice every 10 minutes or so, doesnt leak, runs pretty quietly except when it moves the ice into the storage bin, stops when holding bin is full. CONS. Not good to.use in a small room in summer. This is basically a heat pump type of refrigeration unit. Which means that it moves the heat out of the water to make ice and into the room air surrounding it. I bought it to use in my 25 ft mobile home and it works.. makes ice but it does heat up the area around it. So i get cool drinks in a warm room sort of a wash. This unit would probably work really well in a large kitchen or office or outdoors but not practical in a small living space in hot weather.

Got this for my boyfriend for his birthday and it was a great budget ice maker for him. It is super small which is great for a small fraternity room. I will say they are not totally silent and make a quiet fan noise when running. Sometimes they are loud but whe they get louder it just means they are running low on water. I would say you should probably take the ice out as the machine itself does not keep them cold. It allegedly self cleans but they do grow mold which the self cleaning cant conquer on its own. It is pretty efficient and makes ice quick. The only thing is ours might be defective as the green light never turns off.
