I ordered this to use in our mamaroo swing. I previously had the insert that came with the swing, and it seemed uncomfortable and didn’t provide very good support at all, especially as my baby was only 5.5lbs. This one exceeded my expectations and is a hundred times better than the mamaroo brand insert! The “winter” side is super soft and cozy, and the “summer” side is cooler without being scratchy. Perfect amount of support for my baby, she LOVES being in this thing. I love that it’s compatible with different products, as it fits our stroller too. I actually like it so much that I just ordered a second one so I don’t have to keep moving it between the swing and stroller (although it’s very easy to install and remove, it’s just easier to not have to move it back and forth constantly). The rabbit print is also just ridiculously cute. Very happy with this product, and you can’t beat the price!

Okay, listen. I was so excited to bring my newborn home in this cute little pink padded insert. It looked plush, cozy, and just girly enough to make my postpartum heart squeal. But then—cue dramatic hospital music—a nurse leans over and goes, “Ma’am, that insert’s aftermarket. You need to remove it—it’s not safe.” And I’m like, “Girl, what padding? This carrier is just fabric and vibes.” So after two long, sleepless days of fighting the system, I gave in and took it out… temporarily. 😏 The moment we left the hospital? That insert went right back in like it never left. Only THEN did I realize—dang, this thing kind of looks like a used maxi pad. A very loved, very plush, very supportive maxi pad. 😂 But you know what? My baby loves it. I love it. She naps like she’s floating on clouds. So we’re rolling with it. Yes, it’s giving “absorbent elegance.” Yes, it’s still my favorite purchase. 10/10 would confuse a nurse again.

I wasn’t sure if I should buy this because I couldn’t tell from the pictures if there were slits for the straps to go through when they’re teeny tiny. There are slits for the straps, as you can see in my pictures. His head won’t be resting on the pillow part for quite awhile, but I think the padding on the side will help his head from flopping around. I have a Graco Snugride 35 lite.
