I was hesitant to buy this with no reviews, but I’m impressed. It came well packaged and neatly bound up in the carry bag. It’s lightweight (aprox 12 lbs) and the backpack straps on the bag make it easy to carry. First time setup took about two minutes. All you have to do is unwrap, unzip the top, pop the plastic support bars together, and velcro the mat to the bottom. There is a leash in there as well that’s connected to a support bar if you‘re worried about an escape, but I don’t anticipate needing it. The storage pouch on the side, ability to roll up and Velcro 3 of the windows, portability, and overall esthetic of the crate make it well worth it to me! I might replace my traditional wire crate with it, it’s much prettier, There’s even a little port where you can pop a treat or two in without unzipping. My 6 month husky cattle dog mix isn’t the biggest fan of her traditional crate, she only goes in when asked. But she’s been hanging out in this one! Personally, I wouldn’t use this crate for crate training, it’s sturdy enough for a trained dog but not for a puppy getting used it it or a dog experiencing crate anxiety. But now that Maple is trained I don’t worry about her scratching or clawing to get out. My only potential concern is the zipper quality. I had a few snags when setting up, but I’ll be gentle and hope they hold up over time.

Old; Just received today and the compact fold-up feature is true as advertised. Think “pack-n-play” crib but for dog crates, it’s a very efficient design. We needed an ultra compact travel crate that could fit in the shallow trunk of a sports car (this does!). We’ll be curious how well the bungee-like bands (inside the collapsible poles) last but so far it’s a great design which also includes a thin/compact pad for the crate’s floor. Hope to send a follow up review in a few weeks after some weekend road trips. Giving 4 stars prior to road testing but plan to upgrade to 5 stars after putting it thru the paces ;). UPDATE: after traveling with this crate can say it’s awesome! Our 4 year old Aussie is comfy and happy. This is the Pack-N-Play of crates. May not be the best option if your pup is still in the chewing phase given it’s a fabric crate (as opposed to metal). We’re very happy with this find!

I ordered this for my new puppy, and he loves it. I like it too. Light weight enough for me to move it, and yet heavy enough to seem substantial. The pad it great and the Velcro to keep the screen up works great. I think he likes the fact that he can see out any of the windows, almost like a pup tent. LOL Great buy for the bucks and a nice color too. I would definitely buy it again, and I would recommend it to anyone, as well.

Definitely not for the dog who would destroy things. But if you travel with your dog, & need a crate to bring along, this is definitely it! Feels very sturdy but a chewer who doesn’t like being crates would destroy it. My dog loves his crate and I needed something to take along on road trips etc etc. this is sooo simple to put together. Literally just takes five seconds. It’s easy to carry with the bag tote that comes with it unlike other brands and it’s light weight. Multiple entry points makes it easy for any hotel, motel or even RV. My dog hasn’t even had the nerve to go inside yet as we just got it ten minutes ago and I already love it. Highly recommend

We use this for our 60lb assize while camping. Fits in between seats of dinette. Easy to assemble. stores in a small pouch. He didn't mind it and there was not "cage" rattle noise.

Instructions are non-existent, so get ready for some frustration. If you've ever set up an infant playpen with the snap up sides, that's basically what you have here. You have to use considerable force to get the polls to lock into place. Since they are covered, you have no visual clues as to what is expected of you. It took way longer to assemble than it should have. I would not want to use this on a trip where we need to set-up and take down every day or two. A steel sided folding crate is MUCH easier to setup. We've had other soft-sidded crates on the past that were less sturdy, but easier to deal with. Once assembled, it's sturdy. Our two dogs have not torn through it (yet). I have NOT attempted to fold it back down yet, and actually dread the task.
