I bought the umbrella to provide light rain cover for my morning walks. The umbrella is relatively easy to open and close. It is light enough to be comfortable on my head. The head assembly fits comfortably and the chin strap holds it in place. I haven't used it enough to judge if the 37-in diameter is too wide to comfortably talk and walk with others, I may decide to try a size smaller. Right now I plan to use it as-is when we have light rain. As the manufacturer says you would not want to use it if there is heavy wind. I had to order a 2nd unit as the first was shipped in a defective Amazon shipping bag and the bag arrived without the unit. Amazon shipped the replacement without a problem or charge. This morning was the first light rain day that I chose to do my morning walk. I used my "fishing umbrella" for the first time. It worked perfectly. Kept rain from my face. Perfect for walking our 3 🐕 in the rain when you can't spare an extra hand. Honestly one of the best things I've purchased! This is a great product. It keeps the sun off my head and keeps the rain off my head and shoulders. However, it is a little bit flimsy and if there’s any wind at all the spokes that come down to the headband can cut the skin of your forehead. I would make sure that those spokes are covered to ensure that people do not get hurt. Yes I’m speaking from experience here I did get cut on my forehead.
