I recently purchased a new GE gas range. What a nightmare. I've owned 2 different brands of gas ranges before with no problems. For some reason the oven in this range is an absolute pain. It takes forever to bake anything and even then not necessarily evenly. I had the repairman check it out and he adjusted a couple things but that's it. I've been trying to make some different kinds of frozen pizzas that I've made in the other ovens with no problems. I've tried different heights in the oven and have even had to add time to the longest time referred to in baking instructions. No go. Then I started trying different types of pizza pans with very mixed results. Finally when I bought these pans, I'm finally getting the results that I've been looking for! A simple old fashioned no frills good quality pan. My pizzas are now decent and I may be able to live with this range. As for the pans themselves, excellent quality and with a little Pam Spray pretreating before baking... easy clean up. I wasn't able to find ones like this locally for some reason, they all were non-stick or full of holes or something. Tried those and they didn't work in my oven very well. This is another-use-for-pizza-pans review. I've read where people use plywood cutouts for Dutch oven tote bag bottoms which is fine if you have plywood handy, but here's why I like the pizza pans you can buy on Amazon from New Star Foodservice: 1) Thin, light, durable, and come in 2" diameter incremental sizes (8", 10", 12", 14", 18", 20") and fit perfectly inside your different size DO tote bags) 2) Edges don't splinter like plywood 3) Use as a serving platter for your cinnamon roles that you cook in DO (or other campout food) 4) Protect your plastic camping tables from 'bowling ball holes' when someone inevitably puts a hot-off-the-coals DO with legs on a plastic table 4) Economical, in the $5-7 range for your more common DO sizes, 10"-14" 5) Protect your tote bag bottoms from wear holes so you get more value & life out of them 6) Simple to order: 12" DO=12" pizza pan, 14" DO=14" pizza pan, etc I thought about going the plywood route and cutting up a bunch of circles for my various DOs, but when I found these pizza pans on Amazon, they were a PERFECT, CONVENIENT, NO HASSLE solution. ... show more

We make homemade pizza every week with our family. This pan was a bit more than I wanted to pay but overall it is sturdy and big enough for our needs. However, we noted after just a few uses it became easily scratched with the pizza cutter which makes it harder to clean.     • Clearly used, not new as listed, otherwise perfectly adequate for my purposes.

This 20 inch tray was obviously used, not new as listed. It was not in a protective plastic sleeve like the prior one I received, it was scratched and had some sort of black "gunk" blotches on the back. I am not averse to a little cleaning as I use Amazon's "warehouse deals" often, for some pretty good deals, but it should not be listed as new when that clearly is not the case. The pan is still perfectly functional and all the "gunk" was on the back side. Nevertheless, I cannot rate it as highly as I otherwise would as accurate and honest condition representation is imperative to Amazon's integrity since products are sold "sight unseen". ... show more

    • Nice pizza pan, does NOT work well for SOLO Bonfire cover!

Great pizza pan, so can't give bad rating, but I bought this as a cover for my SOLO Bonfire. Will NOT WORK well. Covers the Bonfire, but the edges are flat, not vertical (as shown in a video I saw for the Bonfire). So any small gust of wind, or any wind for that matter, and the pizza pan/cover is gone. This will work if you've another (cloth/plastic) cover (or weight/brick/cords) to keep this pizza pan in place as a cover. I bought the same cover/model as shown in the Bonfire video, so either it changed or they sent the wrong cover. No complaints with the actual product, but it just wasn't what I needed. Will use it somehow, but my search for Bonfire protection continues.... ... show more

This pan is very sturdy and doesn't flex or bend even when you have more than a pizza on it. I use it for pizza, but also to bring in food from my grill. I've had atleast 5 pounds on it and no issues. Pizza cooks evenly and doesn't stick. It fits a large pizza. I follow the directions and don't cut on the pan.
