FH10 Wheelchair from Mujocooler: Great for Off-Road All-terrain

I’m a nature lover and photographer and need to get around outside better than I can with crutches. The FH10’s front-wheel drive really beats my older wheelchair’s rear-wheel drive in getting me out there. The older chair has swivel casters in front that go out of line from even small obstacles to change direction or even stop the chair. Once front castors are misaligned, it’s very hard to stay on an off-road trail or even get around trees and bushes out in the open. In contrast, the FH10 gets me where I need to go. The FH10’s 16-inch front drive wheels will cross up to about 3” obstacles with minimal steering effect, and 250 watts of power to each wheel is 66% higher than my old chair, so it powers over stuff where my old chair would stall. I’ve driven it through foot-tall grass, over bumpy ground and through woods with no problems I couldn’t handle while seated in the chair using the controller. It turns around on a dime, which is handy in tight quarters, and admittedly, has gotten me out of some sticky off-road situations without incident. The FH10 is 26” deep by 20” wide back and 23” wide front, with an 18” high seat. It’s so stable that even empty, it’s hard to turn over in any direction, except if you lean way forward or stand on the footrests, it can tip toward the front until the footrests contact the ground (3-5” adjustable). But it has never tipped over. I’ve stayed safe going straight up and down slopes in clear woods, fields, and dirt roads at slopes not more than about twice a handicap ramp slope of 8.3%. For loose gravel or wet grass, I don’t go much above the ramp slope. The chair’s manual brakes (in addition to its electromechanical brakes) are handy for safe parking on slopes. Notes: The FH10’s weight is double my old chair (90 lbs. vs 40 lbs.). But since most of the added weight is below seat level, it lowers the center of gravity and adds stability. Despite its weight, even folded, the 16-inch wheels work to roll it up to and on into my pickup bed or wife’s car trunk. The user manual warns not to use it in the rain, but I use a rain poncho that covers me and everything below, so it has kept dry so far. The rear wheel suspension system is an excellent design for stability, but needed new compression springs suitable for my weight – less than half the 330-pound user design. Mujocooler was very helpful on this, and paid for the fix to be done locally. I recommend the FH10 as a great all-terrain wheelchair, and I recommend Mujocooler to buy from. This is about the 4th motorized something that I have gotten for my dad after he had a stroke and FINALLY we found one that doesn’t scare him and is easy for him to maneuver using only the right side of his body. This wheelchair goes beyond what was in the description. I will recommend this item to anyone who will listen. It came fast, was easily put together, works properly, it’s safe, he says it’s comfortable, and the color is very vibrant. He picked orange and we can all see him coming! But now we don’t have to jump out of the way. At first we were worried it wouldn’t fit through the doors in their single wide trailer, but sure enough it fit. For once I couldn't wait to write a review. My years of purchasing endless items on Amazon and avoiding the reviews has come to an end. The weights just as expected. 4 stars all the way around!!!

Goonies never say die!

This thing is hardcore! We went to see the Goonies house and the road is gravel and UP HILL (like a 5-10% grade). It traveled right up it with little effort. Down hill we took it off of drive because it wanted to go with gravity. It breaks down easily and is lightweight. Removing the pads each time is easy for assembly/disassembly. It handled compact sand, gravel and dirt trails. Its stable up hill didn’t show signs of wanting to tip. I would highly recommend this wheelchair from someone who still wants adventure in their life. However not sure how to charge both batteries at once with only one charger.

If you are on the fence about this chair as far as weight capacity don't be and choose this one! I feel the pricing was very reasonable for this chair. The Customer service is top tier and they contacted me within 24 hours and sent me videos/pics of anything I didn't understand. This is my 3rd electric wheelchair and I'm very happy with my purchase. 10 out of 10!!! No assembly needed, the speed is great, it's a little heavier than I would like but the pros out weight this very minor issue for me.

Great chair but not as wide as advertised.

Good quality but not at all as big as it was advertised. I am actually upset that it is still allowed to be on Amazon listed incorrectly despite getting a refund. It is difficult for people who already have mobility issues to have to keep returning things because they are not properly advertised. Will update with a higher rating when they fix the description. The seat is only 16 inches wide. I measured it. The arms are 21 but only at the top, not at the base which is where your butt goes. So if you're buying for the width, don't. If you're skinny anyway, you might love it. The turn radius and control is really awesome and the battery squeeze and pull system is very easy to change batteries. My only wish is that it really had been as wide of a seat and frame as advertised because I would have beenable to keep it.
