This is a nice table for the price. We have a small corner area in our kitchen where we placed this. The initial assembly was a little time consuming, but understandable considering all the pieces. The reason I didn't give a 5 star is because after about 2 or 3 weeks, several of the screws that attached the bottom of the seat to the frame starting to unscrew and fall to the floor. My husband ended up applying some wood glue and then reattached the screws. That seems to have worked so far. You can see the table looks beautiful and the seats are comfortable. If you purchase this - perhaps start out with the wood glue and you can avoid the problem all togehter.

Cons: 1) Even though it says all tools are included, you will need a screwdriver to complete this assembly (long Philips screwdriver). 2) I would have electric hand tools available to do this assembly. There are quite a few bolts and screws to fully assemble this that hand tools would have taken much longer to do. 3) Some lubricant like WD40 would also be useful as I had a few bolts that seemed to resist threading. 4) Screws into seat cushion don't always "catch". I had one screw that flat out refuses to go in. 5) Leveling "feet" do not turn very easily. 6) No instructions (but it didn't take rocket science to figure out). Pros 1) Clearly labelled hardware for chairs and table. They even had rubber bands separating what hardware goes to what making it much easier to organize the build. 2) Threaded metal inserts! I have assembled lots of furniture and so many just screw directly into the wood. This has metal threaded inserts that you screw into. 3) Very nice pieces. Does not feel cheap in any way, looks really good assembled. 4) Sturdy. There is always room for improvement, but this looks like it will last quite a long time.

Wonderful table. Quite sturdy, and the chairs are no joke. Also sturdy. But now ... Watch who Amazon uses to ship this. As you can see from my photos, it would appear that the entire box was ripped apart in shipping. All the parts were scrambled from them tossing them back inside the box. Which confuses me, they used enough tape to strap the box together, why bother with the box? I was able to glue the broken center brace together. Just a cosmetic portion of the brace, but still. I shouldn't have allowed a porch drop for this. The shipper was Non Stop Delivery (NSD) Which is funny. They make you choose a future delivery day, and you watch as your package makes it to your city one week prior to delivery, and it then sits in limbo until the date. Yeah, Non Stop. This is the second shipment from NSD I've had, and both were damaged in shipping. If you order this table, ensure that NSD does not take delivery. Any order I have in the future, that I see NSD will take delivery, I will immediately cancel. I love the table though. Shame the chairs and table are scuffed. It's beautiful.

This took a bit more muscle than expected to assemble - it is not a one person job. In fact there was one screw that just wouldn't go in, so we had to leave it out. That said, the piece is sturdy and looks very good. My suggestion would be to opt for the pre-assembly.

We were looking to downsize the table in our kitchen area to keep it just for our family meals. This table was perfect. My husband put it together so I can't speak to how easy he would say it was but it's sturdy, looks great and fit out space perfectly. I will say that there were some tiny nicks in the wood but I kind of expected that when ordering a table on Amazon that came in pieces. Nothing large enough to be noticed by others - just my OCD eyes.

I bought this full set (table and four chairs) when it was just under $600. Pros: Good value for the money; nice sturdy table top; looked like the photo; directions to assemble were good with exception of the seats onto the chairs Cons: Difficult for one person to assemble (I thought I'd never get the legs on the table to come together); they give you the tool to put everything together except for the seats. In order to put on the seats, they give you very small screws that I did not have the correct screwdriver for, and the seats don't have any holes in them, so assuming you have to use brute force to screw the seats to the chair base. So I ended up using Gorilla glue instead, and that worked. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars
