I'm really impressed with the Nerdqaxe++ Hydro Bitcoin miner. when it worked for a week. not my first miner. However, I did run into a snag when the Power Supply Unit (PSU) failed shortly after I started using it. It took nine days to get a replacement, which was a bit frustrating. On the bright side, it works as intended now. All in all, I’d give the seller a solid four stars. Great performance, but just be aware of the potential PSU issues.     • Unit was only mining at 2.4 TH/s with default settings. Should have been 4.8 TH/s. Not good.

Unit was set to non-default settings when I received it leading me to believe it had been tampered with by the seller (overclocked to get the 4.8TH/s. This unit, even overclocked wouldn't even come close to the 4.8TH/s speed that it is rated. When the settings were set to default, this unit would only mine at 2.4TH/s at best. In the units logs, I noticed that one of the ASIC chips was only mining at 130 GH/s even when overclocked. When electrical settings are set to default, each ASIC chip should be mining at least 1225 GH/s. When overclocked, only two of the ASIC chips were mining at 1225 GH/s. They should have been up around 1500 GH/s when overclocked. This unit is being sent back for a refund. Disappointing to say the least. UPDATE:::: I received a replacement unit from the seller. The replacement unit performed even worse than the original unit I was sent. If fact, even when overclocked to the max this unit could barely do 1.8 TH/s. Horrible performance. I ended up requesting a return for this unit as well. Seems this sellers miner units are sub par. Will not be ordering again from this seller. You would think that the seller would have insured that the replacement unit was up to par. Not so. ... show more
