Where do I start!? I have been waiting for a set this large of spools this large! And im so happy that New Brothread has come out with this! These are all colors I tend to use often in embroidery that I do. I have NEVER had an issue with the thread snapping or fraying while embroidering, even at full speed on my Husqvarna Viking Topaz 50. I've purchased a couple spools from my local sewing dealer and had issues with the thread breaking, tangling and fraying, and now i will never again buy thread from a sewing dealer after finding new brothread. I love that the colors DO NOT fade! I embroidery a lot of hand towels with designs well over 60,000 stitches. So they get washed often. Have never had anything fade Thats another thing about New Brothread, it holds up through washing and drying! ,since I do a ton of embroidery on hand towels they are items that get washed often and haven't had any fall apart!!! I would recommend this to everyone for embroidery and normal sewing as well because the thread is pretty and it is strong. There is no question this is the best thread I have used! Im hoping there are more shades to come in these large 5000 meter spools! I've used 2 colors in this design im working on currently and love how large these are !! ... show more

They put together an assortment of 25 Huge Spools of Basic Colors which are 5500 yards to meet our needs. New Brothreads Polyester Embroidery Threads doesn't disappoint. You get Bright, Bold Colored, Polyester Thread which doesn't break at an amazing value! This is truly an embroiderer's "Dream Come True"! If you like their regular sized spools of 550 and 1100 yards, you will find the same quality with these 5500 yard spools. Also included are 10 extra long thread nets which can be cut in half to use on these 5500 yard spools. Five Sponge Pads are also included to help prevent the thread from falling to the bottom of the spool and causing breakage. You will also find a 25 Spool Basic color & Conversion Chart. I have a domestic sewing/embroidery machine and I found that using one of the sponge pads (included in this kit) at the bottom of the spool holder does exactly what it was meant to do. I usually don't write reviews even if I like something. I just had to write one about this thread because I Love It. I had previously been using Robison Anton embroidery thread with my Husqvarna Diamond Embroiderer and Sewing machine. I was getting a lot of broken threads and the embroidery just didn't look nice. Now there maybe other reasons for this but this Brothread brand is giving me beautiful stitches and basically no problems at all. I will definitely be ordering again. Also the free gifts they give you is a real nice touch. The thread net and the foam cushions are very useful. You can't go wrong with this thread. The colors are rich and I just love it.
