I use embroidery thread for sewing, seldom for its purpose. The thick thread is useful when threading thick rolled up fabrics together, like when making rugs. I often use thinly cut pieces of denims to braid and then sew to make area rugs and the embroidery threads are very useful for the project. This product is not as thick or sturdy as I'd hoped. I am still giving it a 5 star review so far, for the amount of thread and the price. As long as the thread does not break while I am sewing, I think I will be okay

I have absolutely zero complaints with this thread as far as quality and strength. I ran it at 600 spm and no thread breaks. It is smooth and has a nice shine to it for a polyester thread. The only negative imo is that I do not like a 4000m cone. I like consistency, and the industry standard for embroidery thread cones is 5000m. The last thing we need is a decrease in cone size!
