I work 9-10 hours every day with heavy equipment parts and am on my feet all day working with customers at our part counter in our yard and in our warehouse. I walk log 3-4 miles in these every day. After about a month of heavy use they have been pretty good. I normally wear a standard width boot or shoe, but these are a little wider, especially in the toe box. If you want more room in the toe box, it works good for that. Standard shoe size: 11.5 Size ordered: 12 Fit: Good Pros: - Zipper makes it really easy to get these on and off - Comfortable insoles - reinforced material on the toe adds durability - the laces are decent material - bottom sole is a good material Cons: - Boot is a little wide so plan on using thicker socks. This is probably a pro if you are working in a colder environment and wearing these boots. - The top lace holes are actually normal lace holes, the picture makes it look like they may be hooks, but they are not. This isn't a huge issue with the zipper though. - they are a little wider, and with bigger feet, it's tougher to get the lacing down right so they are comfortable for all the ranges of movement I do daily. - full leather and no mesh means they don't breath well. If purchased, I'd suggest un zipping halfway through your day to allow your feet to breathe. - Lower quality leather. The leather seems to be a lower quality so expect it to scuff easily. Bottom line: The price on these boots at the time of writing this is about $150. This is a great price for what you get. You could definitely do worse at this price. Are they the absolute best quality? no, but If you are used to getting a new pair of work boots every 6-12 months, I think these will work for you. ... show more

I wore Redwing boots for years. I thought they were the pinnacle of boots, but these are extremely comfortable and lightweight. My feet breathe easier and I no longer have an issue with athletes foot!

The fit of the boots are great. They seem to have just enough breathability that my feet don't feel like they are suffocating. I normally wear a 12 Wide, but bought 11.5 Wide and they fit great. Only (minor) complaint is that they aren't as comfortable for my flat feet as my other New Balance shoes out of the box; I had to switch out the insoles and now they are perfect. ... show more

This is the nicest boot I have ever owned. It is also the most money I have ever paid for a boot. Ordered my normal size 11 4E for my wide foot, and it is a great fit. This is the only pair of boots that I own that I am using the stock insole so far. Well constructed and looks great.

So far these boots are really comfortable, light weight , and durable. They are get broke in nicely and slipping off and on quite easily with the zipper side.

This boot is very comfortable first off it’s like wearing a tennis shoe but don’t get excited that you think you’re buying a boot. It is not waterproof. The leather is equivalent to a tennis shoe but if you have to have a safety boot in your in a warehouse or something That you’re not in the elements this would probably be just fine ... show more

I was just looking for a really good every day hiking boot and these looked really cool, but these are for sure for heavy heavy industrial factory use only they’re pretty heavy. They’re as stiff as a pair of ski boots downhill ski boots if you know what I mean so that’s what you’re getting.
